Just like Brian, I had to come out right away due to slurred speech. I was pretty open and in some cases too open. I found that I had some friends that were uncomfortable having the discussion. The toughest though was trying to explain to my deaf 89 year old father who never did understand what I was talking about. Love your work.
So true Jessica,my husband has Parkisons,we were very open about it….thanks for sharing, always do what’s best for you….you live the journey with those you love…..
Thank you so much. Will be able to work on my communication after seeing this video. I joined a Parkinson’s support group . my first meeting is next Wednesday. I’m a little nervous but hope that they will help me come to a better understanding
I say it's a good thing to stay friendly with the town gossip. Then when you need to tell scores of people that you have a Parkinson's dx, but you don't want to talk to scores of people, just tell the town gossip. Job done. My own Parkinson's dx is recent. Obviously, I intend to handle this with humor.
Do not want to comment on any video but really I would like to express my gratitude! Keep up the good work! and again Happy to Help! Rodolfo Savica

It's never an easy conversation. For either side. Take care! Thanks for watching.

I hope you enjoy your meeting! I always felt that meeting with groups like that helped me understand more and feel like I'm not alone.
