Insane video production, clearly required a lot of time and effort. I thought I was watching a 200k+ subscriber channel. You’ll be there soon with videos like these.
Absolutely amazing video Ro !! Honduras is a hidden gem and so beautiful. People around the world don’t even know including me !! Now I have to think about getting to that country someday even though I’ve been to all the others surrounding countries includes Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Costa Rica , and Panama.
Honduras surpass in anything the other countries that you had visited: Best gatronomy. Two oceans, Pacific and Caribbean. The world second largest coral reef in the World: Islas de la Bahia. 94 Natural Reserves and National Parks. Second largest Botanical Garden in the World, in Tela. THE ONLY country in the world where every year happen RAIN OF FISH! The Second largest Rain Forest after the Amazon. The Most Beautiful Mayan city, Copan. The only Central American country with 5 international airports. The country with the largest number of honduran english/ german speakers . The country with the largest Solar Panels Park in Latin America, Home to the most oldest clock in the world, working, with 1000 years of antiquity, in Comayagua. And all this is not even the half of why Honduras has more that many countries in the world, regarding natural beauty, history, culture, gastronomy, etc to offer to the world tourist. Is not by accident that Honduras is the country of FIVE STARS.
Thanks for sharing Ro! I spent a year in Utila In 2014-2015, and that made nostalgic to watch it. I did a music festival next to Neptunes, and spent a lot of time under water.. Missing these days.. Hope that you are doing fantastic wherever you are! Stay blessed!
Oh wow, that must have been an incredible time! I’ve always wanted to do the music festival, I might go back for that. That makes me so happy to hear, Thank you for watching!!
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful experience in Honduras and the Island of Utila. One thing l want to clarify is that the “baleada” is strictly a Honduran dish and not a Central American one as mentioned in your video. It was invented in La Ceiba in the 1960s or 1970s by a woman who was a food street vendor. Thank you. Carlitos. Riverdale, Bronx, New York.
Nice review and great quality! Hope you met Jenn the manager of Neptune's. We stay every time we visit Utila. We love the house reef. It is off the grid enough but because Neptune's and the beach there is such a destination place we bet to party without going in town I we wish!
Thank you so much!! I loved Neptune’s, I actually did a dive from Neptune’s and popped out right in front of the house I was staying! Lol so crazy, where else can you do something like that.. Utila is truly magical!
I remember that passenger in the beginning on the flight you had mentioned, LMAO....it's a really cool video, like how it was put together....place looks waaaaay too similar to my home country nearby just remember that part i spoke about with the reef comment, lol!!
Oh cool! I’m actually working on a video right now on all of my lessons learned from traveling to Utila so stay tuned if you need any additional help planning your trip 😉
Hi hi I love your video make more people know about hour beautyful little island.... I work on all those homes ner by where you was ..also the house you stay in ...
Thank you! Since you’re going a bit outside the whale shark time frame, your best bet would be booking a tour from Boddens and Bushes (recommended from a local) they can take you out and find the whale sharks for you to swim with if they’re around🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽. If you need other information about getting to the island and restaurants etc.. check out my blog page www.gowithRo.me I hope you have a blast on your trip! Keep me posted on your whale shark adventure! 🙂
Do plane land on the dead coral reef in Utila? I visited La Ceiba during the Carnival. Plus some old friends have a Island souwes key about a thirty minute ride on dory.
Thank you! It was actually pretty quick.. under an hour when I flew in but I’m sure that varies based on how many flights are arriving. The way out took much longer
Lived on the island back in 1999 n it was a wild place back then. At the time I worked 28/28 in Africa n traveled back n forth every month. Loved the island n bought two lots at the end of Pumpkin Hill road on right facing water. Spent many days out there but someone started taking the sand off of my lots while I was gone so ended up selling n making a little n never went back cuz I started going to Philippines n now live here n people here are so much nicer but food is not as good. God Bless
That’s very cool! What a great spot on pumpkin hill. That’s too bad what happened but the Philippines is so nice you’re probably better off there lol. I’m going to plan a trip there soon!!
That’s a very great point and we actually gave medicine and supplies to both places to make sure we help as many people as possible. If you have other suggestions or feedback you can always reach out to the organization at supportutila.org/
Thank you for watching! That’s a very great call out, it’s actually the same reef that runs along both countries because it’s a part of the mesoamerican barrier reef system aka great Mayan reef which extends from Mexico to Guatemala, Belize and Honduras… but I totally get how it could get misconstrued
Thank you for this video. I loved it! 🙂 Utila is on top of my list to visit and it might happen very soon. Can't wait to experience this island and if everything works out this might be the place I retire too. 🙂 BTW who did you rent that boat from? 🙂
Thank you and So happy to hear! Cheri and her husband provide water taxi services, so I’d just text them on WhatsApp and they would pick us up and drop us off. Here’s her number +1 (707) 349-6506
Great video! Couple of corrections: it’s bah-leh-ah-dah, not bah-leh-ey-dah. And it’s not Central American, it’s only Honduran. Anyway, Thanks for bringing us along!
I stayed on the south shore over by Neptunes .. it’s very quiet and remote.. you can only get to it by boat. I take my own diving gear and then just rent tanks but There’s a dive shop on this side called Utopia, they will set you up with everything!
Wonderful! The most helpful is to list rental, stay options if you could. I completely understand putting all those hours to provide exceptional service to the viewers without being sponsored. Helps with trusting the local businesses and feeling safe exploring those areas💖 thank u
Hi any suggestions about how to reach a Tuktuk driver? Also, I need to know the best way to get from the airport to the bus company or station in downtown san pedro sula that will take me to La ceiba and then what ferry I need to take to utila. 😇😇😇
Hi there! Once you get off the ferry there will be tons of tuktuk drivers there waiting to take you wherever you are trying to go! Or if you want to contact the tuktuk driver I used, his name is Chover, you can contact him via WhatsApp +504 9584-9082. Hmm, you probably just want to take a taxi from the airport and then just look up Utila Dream Ferry. The link is also posted in the description of my video. Good luck on your travels!!

Fui a Utila en Diciembre del 2020 en una lancha rápida. Alquilamos golf carts en la isla. La pasamos super

I would recommend donating to the government clinic. The one you guys donated to is a private clinic which most cannot afford to go to.
