Good channel, just subscribed
Thank you so much!
Awesome video very interesting place
Thank you!
You did your homework before to go. Great video!
Thank you 🙏
West End didn’t look very busy. Neither did West Bay. But it’s how I remember it from December. This is very representative of the area. And it DEFINITELY helps to have a little Spanish. Google Translate gets cumbersome.
im a local, and i just recently moved to this side of the island close to where that guy bes and every time i see him he either has a rock or a machete in his hand, absolute lunatic.
I love your island!
Have fun and be safe!
Maybe he has some mental issues. Authorities should do something .
the guy at the end was basically saying "hes fed up with the locals. no one gives a shit or has any pitty that the elders (guy in the wheelerchair) doesnt have any money, water, or even a cigarette and no one pays him any attention. he said dudes on the motorbikes at the very end are part of the problem". He came off hostile but it was more a frustration with his fellow people.
Thanks for the interpretation! Yeah I felt frustration as well.
Amazing videa
Thanks!!
God bless you!!!!
thank you! you as well!
what is the name of the restaurant where you got that fish dish. I need that exact meal? TIA
I think the name was Thirsty turtle.
What town were you in at the end? Was that still West End or were you in Coxen Hole?
Coxen hole.
Congratulations you speak a lot of Spanish . Don’t let the vendors take advantage of you , that’s not nice . I’m hondurean American citizen. Pretty soon I will be visiting Bay Island
Thank you, I will!
those prices are similar to Puerto Rico
The plate 20bucks not bad. Considering location.
Yeah I agree.
And very tasty and fresh as well.
Translation of conversation with the guy at the end? We could definitely tell he was giving you grief
Yes.
I’m actually working on that and will add that soon.
Thanks for reminding me!
@@yotamtravels Also hoping to see some of your Utila clips 😊
Will do soon!
Dude, those aren't lychees, they're RAMBUTANS. 😂
Lol I’ll get the right name next time haha 😂
Lychees are the same as rambutan
Gotta feel bad for the locals man
the guy was complaining how the Honduran people do not care about each other and all they want is take take and never give back to the community he was saying how the poor old guy hasn't had food and is in a wheel chair and nobody gives a damn about it, p.s i was born in Honduras but was raise in America so i tried translating the best i could i am sure someone else will correct me. i am planning on going to roatan but kinda scared of getting rob lol
Thanks so much for translating! Yeah that’s how I felt when he was talking. Roatan felt really safe for the most part. The touristic areas (west bay and west end ) are super safe.
how do you convert your usd to lempiras or can i use my credit card? also how much would i need for a few days worth of trip? last question how do you travel from the airport to the resort is it by taxis or do you recommend renting a vehicle?
@@yotamtravels
Vivo en roatan y te aseguro que no te psara nada soy de san pedro sula y vivo hace 4 años y es mas seguro que en otras ciudades
Hi! Sorry just saw your message.
I used credit cards so I don't need to pay any kinds of fees when possible. I also got some lempiras before I came so I can pay in places which don't accept credit cards, they also accept US dollars in Roatan in most places so it makes it easier.
I would say for a few days worth of trip like 2-3 days probably $300-$500. From the airport to the resort Grab a taxi, but DONT take it from the airport because it is double the price, walk few hundred meters and then catch a taxi, shouldn't be more than $10.
I didn't rent a vehicle just used the local transportation and was really good.
You scary ah boi 😂
El hombre que sale en la miniatura es Marito?
How much you pay for taxi from Cruise Ship to West End ?
Hey, I didn't take the cruise ship.
I did take a taxi from the airport to sandy bay the first day I arrived and paid about $20.
Later I realized that I over payed.
When I met a local she basically told me that she never pays more than $2-$3 inside the island.
@yotamtravels no way, the hotel is telling me 30 bucks to get picked up from the airport. Goin lg west bay
@@Abena_Goddess87 I think it’s too much from what I remembered. Maybe the prices went up
West end is the more local area..😂
lol I guess more local than west bay haha 😅
waiting for your under water video!
Coming soon!
It’s anit no chicken fettuccine I tell ya that boy
Mis padres vidisatron Roatam y fue una mala experiencia y esto q en la zona q estuvieron era la más cara ,mala atención etc.

Go to TABYANA BEACH and snorkel in front of the black cliffs on your left. 😎🤙🌴
Thanks! Will do it next time I’m there :)
Would you say it looks like mexico? Like cancun or vil k villahermosa
I haven’t been to Mexico yet, will be there hopefully in January so will let you know.
The beach is amazing in Roatan.
Totally different. Not commercialized like Cancun. Very small island feel.
Damn that pineapple is so expensive
lol I know right?! I should have tried to pay 5$ haha
There was something Very suspect about the " rum" that he put in there. The way he was holding / covering the bottle says a Lot.
pastelitos = enpanada
Thank you :)
