What are your thoughts on the latest version of the AtGames Legends Ultimate HD Arcade Machine for $549 at Sam's Club this Holiday Season? Let me know your feedback below!
Great update PDUBS. I'm not replacing my hard working highly customized ALU, but I'm interested in how powerful this unit is by comparison. Thanks for the update!!
I don't have one, but I am very happy with my AtGames pinball. If I had to do it over again, I think I'd get one of these and get Arcade 1up for games with special controls like Big Buck Hunter, racing games, NFL Blitz.
Glad to see the Atari arcades are back. I hope they configured the vector games PROPERLY this time out. Valis and El Viento being front-panel brags is... odd. But I'm here for it. QIX.
Breaking News from Jason and Pdubs. I wanna see the games list, good to see it back at Sams so people can pick these up locally. The games list seems the same on Atari, I have them on all my ALU's.
I wish they would redesign the cab and take away those rounded edges in the front and slant the control deck to make it look more like a traditional arcade cabinet. If they did that, I’d buy one because I love CoinOps.
Was just at my local Sam's Club here in Omaha, NE. No cabinets in the store...yet. I was able to sign up for notification via email when they do become available. Fingers crossed!
Pretty sure the description was a copy/paste job on both description and specs tabs. As an indication of this, the specs page tells you of "new" features that haven't been new since the ALU 1.1-1.2 days (pinball buttons, game packs, 16gb memory)... According to the actual artwork on the machine, I still firmly believe that you will no longer see Disney, nor Data East. They appear to have added Renovation, Rare and Natural History to the mix of Taito, Atari, etc. With pinball graphics on the machine, perhaps you'll get a couple of built-in pinball packs to USE those buttons. Guess we'll see..
Hola my good man! I've always wondered… how do you play Tron on this thing seeing that Tron had a flight stick style control stick with a trigger on it... along with the spinner?
Wish they had the pinballs back. I literally got a sam's club membership to get one vpin and the one warehouse near me that had them in stock still post holiday's never lowered the price, until they did and they were just randomly gone.
@PDubsArcadeLoft No I haven't i just put them in my closet and actually gave up trying. But I did notice that firmware is compatible with the Atgames Flashback Boom.
@@george._sir._gemini.175 I would recommend that you just reformat your drives and just add the individual .uce games you want and you can access and play them via the addon menu. Then you don’t have to mess with configuration of those thumb drives or coinopsX or one sauce. Makes it way easier if you just want to play the games and aren’t savvy enough to set up those other apps properly.
That blank bezel looks bush league as it gets, they need to do something with all that blank space. I do like the side panels as far as multi-cades go which I never really car for. This looks like someone had some parts and a woodshop out back and made a working cab out of it.
I rode up to Sam's Club this morning and found a woman who's worked there for 10 years & she's never seen an arcade machine or pinball in the store, ever. I guess I'll have to take my chances with ordering online. Not crazy about having it shipped to my house due to possible damage en route. I'd much rather pick it up at the store. 🤷♂
That is great it will be heading back to Sams Club. If that is the case, will pick one up likely, then get the BitLCD. Question I would have will it support CoinOps X? Later firmware version supposedly don't have CoinOps X access. Legends Ultimate Won't be my only multicade, will likey get a cocktail one from a Billiards/Game Room Store in Chandler. Here is the Link to it, its come down in price by $250. I did on your Facebook Post did give the link to that cocktail arcade.
I think their leaving that out remember I think the last update removed coin ops and had to roll back to different previous version see if mike B can find out for super game room dudes show
I have an old and I mean old "Quasicade?" cabinet along with a original 1st gen (occasionally it might work) Xgaming controller that is powered by a HP dual core Vista upgraded to Windows 7 computer running M.A.M.E version .82... I know, I'm lame 😂. But don't despair I do have the Legends Ultimate Mini single player which I picked from a thrift store a couple of years ago. So, with the 4K being put off to maybe summer next year and either way, it will probably cost double or even triple $ of the HD at Sam's Club This may be an option... if it sticks around to tax refund time, and old Uncle Sam gives me a refund.
meh I don't see any reason to upgrade as you said especially since mine was just fixed with a new ctr board so it is once again working just fine the only way I would consider this is if mine went completely dead and was shot like monitor dead computer dead control panel dead no signs of life at all
If the hardware didn't change, which isn't mentioned, just flash an older firmware on it to make the cabinet useful for your needs, I mean you own it right, and you bought it because of specific reasons. They lefta bad taste in people mouths when they pushed out the 5.70 update and hosed unsuspecting owners. Took me close to 6 months to make the damn thing work properly again.
@@michaelkeudel8770 I don’t believe you can go back once it is updated to the newer firmware. That was possible before the newest update. Once you update, You have to update your coinopsX or onesauce to the latest build that works with the new firmware.
@@michaelkeudel8770 yes but coinopsX and one sauce will still be broken if you had updated to 5.70. That is why you have to update your flash drive builds in that situation.
@@michaelkeudel8770 how did you do this on a new machine? were you able to just put the firmware on a usb and plug it in and restart the machine to load it?
@emilyl6012 I got upgraded to 5.7, hosed everything. Reset to factory load, then installed the 5.68 firmware. Bricked my alu for months, was really pissed. There's a vide on RUclips showing you how to do it, and where to download the firmware to. Only thing new on the new alu right now is artwork.
I have bought an at games legends machine as well as a gamer pro and a gamer mini and each one had a CTR encoder board fail after 1yr of use. I enjoyed them but I just can’t recommend these products at this point. It will cost $20 for the new board and $20 for shipping to fix them and then it may fail again eventually.
Yeah that's what I saw too, seems like we might have to pay for the features this time. That came out after I recorded my video, we will discuss on Super GameRoom Dudes

Smame hardware, no more powerful
I get 4k 60 pinball, but I'd I'm good with the HD arcade. I wouldn't bother playing double and waiting for the 4k cabinet
Thanks Lilalien and PDuds!
I am going to my local Sam’s this weekend and hope to see this in person
Much appreciated

Finally. Thank you for the update!

I would swear on the 1.2 unit Atari was removed - let me know.
Certainly not breaking any news, just shared the link on my part! lol

Never owned an ALU. How would you compare game play with its Arcade1Up counterparts? For example, Centipede and Galaga on ALU vs Arcade1Up machine.
Atgames is way better than 1-up
I think that product description is old, just like the ratings/reviews on the page are old.
I know that's why I said "if this listing is correct" a few time in the video.
Let us use coin ops again😢
Sure..after you pay $100 for it
Just use Legends Unchained, it works better anyway
