ViewCation presents: Best things to do in Molokai, Hawaii.
This little island, which is only 38 miles long and 10 miles wide and the second smallest in the state, is a popular tourist destination with incredibly natural and cultural attractions to bewilder you with. Known as the "Friendly Isle," it is home to the world's tallest sea cliffs (tallying 3,600 to 3,900 feet), the world's longest continuous fringing coral reef in the United States, and a large population of native Hawaiians.

Nature is infinite and adventure is limitless on this mountainous island. You'll be treated to an authentic Hawaiian culture, adventure, delicacy, and the hospitality of the inhabitants of the island of Molokai. The island is densely packed with attractions, so renting a car is a must if you want to see as much of it as possible. Consider staying in or near Kaunakakai, which is the island's lone town and home to a smorgasbord of gift shops and tour companies.
Some of the best things to do in Molokai include learning how to make leis at Hawaii's largest plumeria farm, picnicking at one of the state's white-sand beaches, and appreciating the stone and coral fishponds that were utilized for farming between 700 and 800 years ago. It would be an inexplicable awesome experience if you tried all the above. Kalaupapa Peninsula, though long a jail for those suffering from Hansen's disease (leprosy), has had tourists flooding the region for its history and hidden attractions like sea cliffs. Hiking or riding on a mule's back is another interesting thing to do. There's an incredible view awaiting anyone who embarks on this journey. Another interesting thing to do in Molokai is to explore as many of its lovely and scenic beaches. Most of the beaches are favorable for swimming, picnicking, sightseeing, and other fun beach-themed activities.

A beautiful and peaceful island. Very bucolic, away from all the noise and concrete. May Molokai always stay this way.

This video seems like it's AI generated. There are a couple "tells" in the video, especially when certain Hawaiian names are pronounced. And the summaries of the various places are taken from elsewhere, and not from the creator's personal experience.

I can tell ya this much. Mind your own business and let locals alone. Friendly enough to their own! If you ain't local you ain't wanted. Coming from an Aleutian Island I understand completely. I have made 8 trips to Molokai and have not once had anyone yell at me. I'd like to think it's because I am respectful to their way of thinking. A few years back there were signs everywhere saying something like Come, spend, leave. Locals come first so don't expect quick service, well except O'Hana grill. You're on Molokai Time so slow it down.

Get ready to be screamed at by the locals. Not what I would call a "friendly island" but the price is right concerning vacation rentals.

Lol can you blame them? Molokai has been fighting back against tourist development from foreign companies for decades

Yeah, cause everyone who moves here think they own the island.
