Hands down the best video about things to do in Maui I have seen. I've been months into my research and this video hit the spot. No "Instagrammer model vibes", no bullshit. Insightful recommendations, comments about logistics and warnings. Super cool ! You crushed it!
Aloha. We’re going to Maui for the 8th time in October, 2021. We love it there and the Hawaiians are awesome! We will take your recommendations. Mahalo
For Haleakala Sunset if the clouds are clearing off that night above you should stay for the STARS, constellations by 9 pm, full milky way view around midnight. Considered 4th best in the world place to view them. Better in summertime since there are twice as many visible stars.
Excellent video, quick and to the point. Please post a food video for Maui. So many videos about food are so stupid and people say dumb things and waste my time! I really appreciate your matter of fact, succinct style. Great video!
Found this video via Tiktok talking about travel to Maui. The link was posted just days before the fires. This is by far one of the best videos I have ever seen about Maui and I've been to the island many times. You hit on so many good things. I need to add a recommendation: Maui Pineapple Plantation Tour, Makai Glass Maui and the Hali'imaile General Store across the street. Magical places.
Great video! When going to Hana be sure to stop at TONY'S PLACE food truck down the road from Hamoa Beach (Hana Hwy & Haneoo Rd). Best fresh fish and Hamburgers on the Island. Amazing scenic property to enjoy your lunch on. Definately worth the drive! Aloha!
Aloha : Awesome wrap up of Maui. We love this very special place. One thing I feel it is important to share is that the whale come here each winter to give birth to their babies. The choose Maui because the babies need to learn how to breath so the mommy is nearby the baby to help push them to the surface and teach them their breathing. Additionally the boys are out here as well and often they compete for the female attention in what are called competition pods so they jump up a lot and breach. Then if you are underwater while they are hear you can listen to the sound of the boys singing one song to the girl. The song changes over time but once established they are all singing the same song but it varies so sounds like babies crying out. Pretty awesome stuff out here. Mahalo Nui for the love of Maui 🙏🏻🌸🤙🏼🌴🌈
Maui, known also as “The Valley Isle,” is the second largest Hawaiian island. The island beloved for its world-famous beaches, the sacred Iao Valley, views of migrating humpback whales (during winter months), farm-to-table cuisine and the magnificent sunrise and sunset from Haleakala.
I watched your videos before going on my first solo trip. I just got back and my experience was superb. I love sunsets, clouds and water. House of the sun was amazing! The sunset was remarkable. Going up and down that hill was not with the bulls on the road but it was worth it.
5:29 This exact sentiment is 100% spot on. This rationale is also accurate for the people that go to other countries just to lay around at the resorts all day; you can do that at home! Why go to another country or state just to do nothing?
THANK YOU so much for all the details, the history and the notes of RESPECT. I have such a better appreciation after watching a few of your RUclipss already. I had no idea about the Coral Reef Safe Sunscreen. I’m grateful to be able to visit this lovely island and to be blessed by Nature’s beauty, therefore I will be respectful to all🙏💕☮️
You are now officially my favorite THINGS TO DO ON MAUI video here on RUclips. I totally agree with your recommendations. Your commentaries are spot on! Yes you mis pronounced some words but that's ok. You are not Hawaiian so we don't expect you to pronounce all Hawaiian words perfectly. Again, spot on list, well edited and presented video, good information. I love how you remind your followers to take care of the environment and nature. I live here and appreciate visitors who are respectful. The only place I probably wouldn't mention if I was to do this is list is the Venus Pool simply because the entrance is on a "residential area" (and I think you have too pass through a private property), there is no designated parking lot and I wouldn't want to have many cars parked along side of the road. But other than that, I agree with all your list. Much Aloha, Liza
@@quinguyen4953 it was amazing and beautiful! I stayed In wailea, Maui (laid back compared to other cities there). I wasn’t able to explore all that I wanted to. I went in July and that was the most busiest time, there were so many people. If I were to do it over again, I would choose a different month! Overall it was a cool experience and I hope you have an awesome time when you go ☺️
The road to Hana we just needed to go 4 more miles for the next stop. My phone said 4 Miles, 52 minutes. Be sure to fill up ahead of time. Probably best thing we did. Bridges are mostly one lane so you spend time waiting for the other car to use it first. Our problem was we left really early (6:15 am) but breakfast places weren't open until 8am. So plan for breakfast. Well worth the trip. And Maui requires having a car.
