Brother..can I see your LinkedIn...
Hey Ali, I’m a student in ubuffalo and you mentioned you got your bachelors there. I’m interested in EE and I’m curious about the clubs. Did you join any EE clubs and do any hands on work in them? If so which ones?
Thanks
yes tons of hands on work -- I joined UBnanosat, best club! @@Ar41_
@@alithedazzlingHey Ali, I'll be joining EE with a major in Electric power and renewable energy. Should I join a club related to engineering? Will that help me as an electrical engineer? Or should I join a hobby club like martial arts?
Finding the information is quite easy. But to understand it, you must have someone who is there to give you advice
Thanks for this video Ali, I've been hunting for internships this year and it seems this video came right on time :]
Hey Ali, just a request if you could do a video on cyber physical systems engineering vs. maybe electronics engineering. This would be really helpful!
Ali a new sub to the channel..I will start EEE at a uni in January.. I think it will be really helpful if you launch a course for freshers and practically be a mentor as we don't have that much resources in less fourtunate countries..The course fee should be student friendly as not many students can afford expensive courses!
could you suggest more in detail at our discord? discord.gg/dZUbkpHDsB
Ali, in my opinion you are the best engineer on RUclips. Any advice on how to tailor your CV to get that first internship?
Thank you! there's another engineer on YT named Tamer shaheen has few really good videos on resume and job hunts
Ali, thank you for the videos. Off-topic question, but I am a current high school senior that is looking to get into EE. I’d like to “try it out” before I start college next year to get a very slight head start and see how interested I am in it. Do you have any books that you’d recommend for this? I’m currently working through Electrical Engineering Principles and Applications by Allan Hambley, is that good?
yes, I wrote a book actually -- go to alialqaraghuli.com/ -- click on my book and start reading!
Hey Ali, big fan of the videos man. Im currently a sophomore EE student at LSU. I want to eventually teach and get my PhD but first I want to work with a bachelors to save up for it.
My main question is: is it hard to apply and get into a PhD or masters after several years of no schooling?
Not hard if you have a good resume and show you would be a good fit -- id advise you reach out to few professors at school you're interested in to see who you can work with
Hello Prof. Ali. I'm an EEE freshman and I have several questions, but I also noticed that many people have questions to you as well. So how about make a QnA video about the most frequently asked questions and engineering generally and EE specifically?
that's a really good idea, could you suggest that in the discord? discord.gg/dZUbkpHDsB
Hello Ali. I know I want to do engineering but I have little understanding of what specific major I want to pursue. Is there a good way to determine this beyond the surface level "Whatever you're most interested in" or "What subjects your best at"?
Hi , thank you so much for all your videos they are so helpful,
please can you tell us what are the most important softwares that an electrical engineer must master nowadays ?
check my video ranking EE classes hardest to easiest
Hi Ali, sorry for the off topic but I wanted a suggestion about the "master" I'm going to take. I'm a 3rd year BME student and I don't like this degree, there is too much stuff about everything but at the end of the day EE, ME, ChemE and biologist will always be better in the specific field. Anyway, In Italy, we must take a complementary degree 2 years long (it is not a master) and it is specializing. For BME we have different choices and one of them is about electronic medical devices. I wanted to choose this one because diagnostic devices such as MRI are cool 🤣 and electrical stuff is what I like the most. Anyway, with this degree in medical devices I can also take another one in electronics engineering with just one year, so I would be both EE and BME. Would you suggest me to do this or directly EE?
Follow your intuition. It's hard for an outsider like me to decide for you
Please broski make a video on quantum computers. Is it a subfield of electrical engineering since i'm an electrical engineering student? Are we already living in a dinosour age by using digital computers? Your thoughts and predictions please to better understand the overal concept and outcome since you have a PHD.
Please make a top 10 electrical engineering entrepreneur ideas
Hi Ali, I have been watching your videos as a high school student looking to get into engineering and I just wanted to ask in a previous video in which you were talking about NASA engineers you said that they were all experts in their fields and at any point they could transfer into fields in which they would make a lot of money. I am personally not very money orientated however what you said contrasts to everything I’ve been told about engineering😂. Could you please elaborate on which sectors would have a lot of money making potential?
P.S. this question is open to anybody who has an answer.
I really don't know how to answer that, for me you will only make money doing something you thrive in -- maybe Im wrong but that's what I do in my life
You’re my mentor I wish I can meet you in real life and you can maybe be my professor.
Hey Ali had a question: Do you think doing internships during grad school prolonged the length of your MS and PhD?
no
Hiii @alithedazzling , I am Indian student graduated in electrical engineering 2 months back but i only have 50% of knowledge forgotten the basic and all,, so can you tell me if i go with master in electrical or learn some skills and go for data science , If i wanted to shift to data science and do master in it so whats your opinion on it , what do i do i am confused for future
For me communication system is very tough we study 4 edition by bp lathi plz suggest some techniques or upload lecture on it so that may be it motivated to us
Im like you but 7 yrs ago, with all led zeppelin and Hendrix and career change and of course we are from same countries. Inspiring
super cool!! add me on linkedin --> ali alqaraghuli
Long Story short i want to do a online electrician course to get a sponsorship in Europe so please suggest which course should i do ❤ and I'm an electrician just commercial so Don't have any paper proof that says i'm an electrician ❤❤❤
Hey Ali I think I want to do EE and I’m really interested in trains, what track would you suggest I go down? Do u know any EEs that are in the rail industry? It’s early but I want to have a gist. I’m interested in all things trains, like electrification of rail and communications based train control. High speed rail, metros, etc. Thanks for the help 🚊
im sure there are opportunities -- follow your interest always
What software do you use for the camera?
Which chapters of high school mathematics are more important for electrical engineering and which are the insignificant ones?
complex numbers are most important
Is it necessary to have a big project in your portfolio for doing an internship in EE , currently I'm in mid of my 2nd yr and planning to go for an internship in summer . Btw I'm from India
any project or experience will help
I am student graduated in electrical engineering 2 months back but i only have 50% of knowledge forgotten the basic and all,, so can you tell me if i go with master in electrical or learn some skills and go for data science , If i wanted to shift to data science and do master in it so whats your opinion on it, is certification can make it and what if the theory in masters is hard
, what do i do i am confused for future
I am a bigger fan of skills over certifications, but if a certification can help gain skills go for it
lmao imagine putting in years of your life and education to end up just working for a military defense contractor
I am a Mechanical engineer and recommend some books
Why did you choose to go into analog/rf instead of digital?
i like physics
is it possible to work remotely somehow working as an electrical engineer?
depends on specialty but yes
Hi ALI i have completed diploma in electrical electronics engineering and pursuing bachelor's degree in electrical electronics engineering now iam willing to do masters degree in electrical electronics engineering can you suggest any universities please bro its really help me a loi
the university doesnt matter as much as long as it has good research and a lot of student activities
What are your thoughts on remote Nelly
uhhh
What is your view on power engineering?
good
Do those companies accept foreign employees from other countries
