Why don't you teach these subjects year by year on your YT channel in a sequence? Would be a great help from someone who understands the subject and its applications. Just imagine a whole engineering degree worth of knowledge floating on YT for someone who is really interested in engineering specially in Hardware. There's a lot of CS on YT but not quality EE.

I agree. As someone self learning it's tricky to find the right sequence of well explained courses even though content is available but in pieces. It would need some sort of collaboration to bring the finest things together considering EE is actually very broad! Like it would be so easy to just have everything banded together with assurance of over average knowledge.

Thankfully, alot of schools havee either flowcharts or a "suggested 4 year plan" that help alot alot in comparing programs. Another technique I am using is assessing the research areas that interest ke and thusly looking at all the rraearch groups and labs a school has, since I plan on undergrad research. There are SO MANY research areas, its fantastic.
1 professor told me physics 1 and calc 2 tend to weed people out of STEM in large numbers. I often suspect that math teachers to communicate how much math is in these fields as well as how math can be used for, say, Economics, which is usually under Social Science, or Archaeology which mixes STEM and Humanities
I DO ve4y often hear that Junior year is the hardest for most engineering majors, save for apecial circumstances of class planning and such. Some schools give class credut if the work experuence satisfies course content. But this has limits.

It's a nice thing that some unis offer them as one major

Yes, like Oregon State or Ohio State Universities, I noticed. Although Oregin state does a quarterly system. Not sureabiut Ohio state. Here in Michigan, Michigan state and Michigan Tech have them separate.

Sounds like you're at JSC. I was just there in December! That gift shop really got me good.

What’s up Ali 😊 I was wondering if you still had your EDM album on Spotify and where I can find it 🙂.
I was wondering if you could share some advice on choosing professors for college as I am currently a senior in hs and plan on doing electrical engineering in a year. I’ve heard that choosing professors are crucial to your gpa and education.

Hey Ali, a video in which you show us your top picks of books that explain the big concepts in electrical engineering (circuit theory, electromagnetism, communication systems, etc) would be much appreciated 🙏

    Hello Ali,
    I hope you're doing well.
I'm an international student. Recently, I have been admitted to Clemson and Drexel universities for Fall 2024.
Clemson costs $46k/yr while Drexel costs $54k/yr. Ranking is almost the same, both R1, great locations. Both offer focus areas in AI/ML.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could pls help me decide which one would be better to choose in terms of future job prospects for international students.
    Thanks in advance!

My newest technique is topick 3 research areas and see which universities have research labs running experiments in those areas. They may have your major, but do they have specific electives or undergead research opportinities in where you want to work? For me? Nanotechnology design, nanoelectronics fabrication and materials science, computer vision, medical imaging and diagnostics, comoutwtiona fluid dynamics, and other areas interest me.

I'm currently a HS student doing a dual enrollment program, learning to be an electrician. I'm planning on going to college for electrical engineering since it sounds like a solid and interesting career. Any advice on whether I should change my path?

In my country I cant even between the two I have to choose both or neither and also in 5 years I have to study both for bachelors and masters(you get masters when you graduate)
