I'm getting a GCC in about a month, and to get ready for his arrival, I've watched almost all your videos as well as vids from BirdTricks! I've been doing research for the past 2 months and I think I'll be able to give this little guy a good home ❤

I cannot thank you enough for your videos. They have all helped my relationships with both my parrots immensely.

I absolutely love this! You’re right no on thinks about confidence building for birds. ❤

My cockatiel Rosie had a crash landing before I got her and she sprained her foot, I suspect it was her first flight and now she’s terrified of movement, she’s not confident stepping on swings, moving while on a hand or other stuff like that, she’s even afraid of flying. I’m hoping to build her confidence, thankfully she’s super food motivated 😂 this video is really helpful thank you!

Thank you for the information. It’s very helpful. My bird is very afraid of everything so it’s hard to show him new things. Appall the tips.

Is this something you still do indefinitely, exposing them to new things?
Will you do a video on easily frightened birds?

I make a habit of trying to find one new thing a week to introduce the birds to, so I definitely do it less over time but still enough to upkeep the confidence.
I have a video on working with flighty fearful birds called “overcoming fears”!

How can i make pellets at home it’s so expensive here in my country and i don’t really want my birds to eat seeds all time

As far as I’m aware it’s not really possible without an at home extruder and a bit of an expensive setup. You could look in to making your own home made seed mix with sprouting seeds as well if that’s a more financially viable option for you! You may want to consult a vet for advice on what low fat but high nutrient seeds to use as well as the potential need for vitamin supplements though!

One of my lovebirds refuses to go back to his cage after being outside. He used to just come to my finger and let me bring him inside but now he just flies away. Do you have any advice or video on this? He's been with as for 4 months and had started trusting us, but I don't want to make him lose this trust if I have to force him to go back to his cage
For reference: he is a pretty small fischer lovebird, 5 years old, gets scared easily. Cage is 87x46x70 centimetres

I have a video on teaching birds go fly back to their cage on cue! It’s called “going to bed on cue” which should cover what you need!

If the bird is healthy and there is no reason to do it that would benefit the bird them don't do it.
