Moved here from Dayton, OH in 2016. It was the best move I've ever made.

I Love Marietta. I have been about 7 times my girlfriend lives there. Marietta Square...Hemingways The Strand. The Hotel where the Union Soldiers stole 'The General Train' ...and McCrakens(Old Fire Station)Pub....I Love Marietta. Atlanta is in my heart now and will be till I die. The Whale Sharks in the Atlanta Aquarium....wow amazing.....I stayed in Cobb County near Davis Road....i MISS Marietta and i MISS my Girlfriend...Tony from Middlesbrough UK
Wonderful. Atlanta is very short on historical places (#CivilWar #Sherman), but Marietta has a few spots which makes it nice.

Georgia is such a beautiful state. I hope to one day move there out of the overpriced, liberal cesspool known as San Francisco.
I think all of us are trying to flee those cesspool s especially in the north. Price of living and food and traffic is hell.

People who make these claims are usually very naive about the south in general. I grew up in NJ and have lived in the Atlanta area for years.
