Kenmore Elite dishwasher - sanitized light flashing error fix for model 665.12763k311 or 12763k

PROBLEM : After a normal wash with heated dry, your dishes are clean, but still wet and cold. They are usually steamed hot and dry. The sanitize light is constantly blinking.

WHERE IS THE MODEL NUMBER LOCATED?
When you open the door, on the left inside is a white rectangular sticker. It's on there. Take a photo with your phone, then rotate and zoom in to see it.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS :
1. Empty the dishwasher. Make sure there is nothing that has fallen on the gray wire heating element on the bottom. Ensure there is no fork or plastic lid etc in there.
2. Clean both filters. See video and read owners manual below on how to do this.
3. The Fix : Run a ‘reset’ cycle while it’s empty by pushing three buttons, in order, three times within 5 seconds.
4. All the lights will come on, close the door if it isn’t already. The reset will hard reboot the computer and run a quick diagnostic 10 min clean cycle.
5. When this is done, your issue might be fixed. If not, it may be your thermostat (cheap and easy to fix see below) or your heating element (a much more difficult task, but still doable).
WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?
I dunno. But like all machines and computers, they need to be rebooted and reset from time to time. Everything needs maintenance and everything wears out. Everything.
