Just bought this guitar from Sweetwater. Should be receiving it Friday. I have seen many reviews of this and yours is one of the best! Keep rocking brother!
I love it! It is awesome to have onboard preamp and effects. I use it for practice regularly, and most of the time when I'm playing live. It is super temperature and humidity stable, so playing outdoor events is never a problem. And, it fits nicely in a trunk or airplane overhead bin, so it's awesome for travel. If I'm playing strictly acoustic, I only need to bring along my Boss ve8, a mic, and some cables, and I can get virtually any sound I could want. I highly recommend this instrument!

One observation: I see that Yamaha decided to go with no internal speaker in this. Very different from Rolands electronic saxophone and Studiologics Numa piano instruments. Do you agree with this? I know those speakers sound lousy but at least it gives you the option of not using an amp at the beach or something. Opinion?
Just my opinion but I'm glad there's no speaker on this. This is a killer guitar for any guitar enthusiast, and an exceptional guitar for any pro. Many options professionally, especially in an in ear monitor gig situation. With this body size it would have to be a small speaker which really wouldn't sound good. If you wanted to use it as a travel axe the "break down" sizing is perfect. And you could plug headphones into it or bring a small (battery powered amp) that would sound better than any internal speaker.
I am inclined to believe that "Mic" means Mic. and I am not going to buy that there are samples mixed in, 1) because the electronics to trigger and store samples would cost more than putting a small Mic into the closed body, where it would be both isolated and get a very hot signal. 2 ) because the mix on that side is called "Mic"

Can you adjust reverb mix (wetness)?

I see it comes with .011 gauge super light strings. Do you think it could handle 12's? 11's are like hairs to me lol.
I use 11's so I have no experience with 12's on a Silent Guitar... but I don't see why they wouldn't work?
Which model Compact 60 are you using? Is it the 60/4? 60/2?
