My Monkey doesnt have a T mark, it has "I" line, than another "I" line and than "III" lines. Which one is TDC? It´s a 2023 Moneky

You might want to clarify that not only does the crank need to be at TDC, but also on the compression stroke.
Otherwise one of the valves is going to be partially open and you’ll get incorrect clearances with your feeler gauges

only need to be at tdc which stroke it is doesn't matter. If the piston is at TDC the valves will always be closed. Single cylinders don't have to worry about any of that other stuff

Screw type adjusters are an "easy" job, but buy the Motion Pro Tappet Adjustment Wrench Set, makes the job SO much easier, especially in places with minimal clearance like doing the intake valve.

Will the motion pro 9mm tool fit up on the intake side with just removing the front airbox element cover? I'm pondering buying one. Tnx for any info.

@@findingneutral Don't know, I took my airbox off and would recommend the same, easy enough and you won't have access issues.

NEVER do valve adjustment on a warm engine let alone hot engine! ⚠️

SuperCub125, don't recall what the clearance was, should be in the video
