James, I am not exaggerating, this is AMAZING. It is so detailed and thought out - my jaw actually dropped when I saw Frog City and the sewer system. I so wish you could have had this amount of freedom in the actual builds that ended up in the game, but I also understand why you can’t. This was way cool though, and so awesome to see your building process. I love that the Werewolves pack and the Debug that goes along with it came with a lot of dirty, cracked, broken looking objects. I know it is something you have been asking for in the past, and you’re really shining with it. Great job! 👏👏
One of my favorite games of all time is the Fallout franchise, so I am super vibing with this aesthetic and always want more in the Sims. That said - if James ever ends his RUclips career, I think he’d be incredible at video game design.
I've got a challenge suggestion - you have to do up an empty house but you aren't allowed to buy anything in build mode, only use inventories. You have to make, steal, dumpster dive, buy (kiosks/flea market), career rewards etc for everything. I'm really curious about how possible it is and whether you can make the house actually look good.
@@limiv5272 He did it strictly by dumpster diving, with the exception of stuff that he *couldn't* find in dumpsters. There may be a few more options with crafting stuff, but I'm not sure how much more difficult it'd be.
Ngl, based on the title I thought this was going to just be like a mundane build video but the building of the underground tunnel system is actually the coolest I've ever seen in the Sims
came here to watch a video of him renewing a library putting more sofas and more bookshelves. Found a gold mine. This is the most detailed and amazing build i could ever imagine
So you know how Sims can "paint from reference." Can a Sim paint a picture of a fight that is happening? I was thinking maybe Nina could get in a fight with Vald and Angus could paint it. Then James would have a perfect painting for the enchanted room. My other thought was to find a CC painting and have a Sim paint it from reference because then it's not CC anymore and it will still show up on the lot without having to download anything special.
james this is INSANE, i love it. it reminds me of the jungle adventure temples/ruins, but, like, so much more detailed and interesting. this is a much better way to showcase lore in the game, rather than just text boxes, popups and notifications. i wish the sims would actually implement stuff like this (and have simmers build it). would love to see more stuff like this from you, it was awesome to watch! p.s. we have never needed paintable ceilings more than right now lol
Looks like a sims 3 adventures world ! Each corridors is a mystery with so much to discover. Loved seeing the building of those lots and the remastering of them !
I was thinking the exact same thing watching this. The way James kept expanding the underground tunnels just took me back to my sims 3 World Adventures days lol My patience with that expansion pack always ran dry a little bit too quickly, but this sewer system is so well constructed and decorated that it made me want a similar pack for the sims 4 (Only if it was built by James, of course).
I honestly never thought this building could be more fun, interesting and cool as it already was in your first time building it. That's amazing, James! (I'm only sad for the giant white seeling, and sadly that can't be changed.)
Can definitely notice when you're enthused to be working on something vs when you're doing it out of duty. You have level zero poker face and I applaud it. Great build.
I love the Forman’s office/Duck room- I’m so glad James did it on the livestream! It turned out *perfect*! Such talent bringing this pack/build to life!
to actually build the underground rooms from the popups is such a cool idea, and you executed them all really wonderfully!! i think the frog room is my favorite but all the others are really cool! awesome job james!
I love seeing your tricks with the walls being up, the little waterfall and all that. It’s very inspiring and makes me wanna start building more fantasy type things again :D
I just love watching James' videos. The buildings you’re showing and the amazing atmosphere is all I need! Btw. I also recently realized that you’re the one who showed me how how to make basement in the sims 2 all these years ago. That was actually one of the first tutorials I’ve ever watched. ^^ Keep it up 👍
James, this is BEYOND COOL. It's so inspiring to see you be so creative without EA restrictions. I haven't bought the pack, but I seriously want it just so I can download this build with the items 😆
Reads original thumbnail: James updates the werewolf library.... 2 minutes in: I don't see much of a difference.... Oh my gosh! Epic basement underground!!!!
James's builds are always amazing, but this build essentially has gameplay to it... Would have been an awesome feature in the game if it had been possible!
Back when you asked who was demolishing your builds, I commented that I preferred to wait for YOU to redo them without all of EA's restrictions ... and you did not disappoint us!! Great job, James. I will definitely be downloading this new version to replace the one ingame. Thank you soooo much!
I was honestly trying to figure out how you would handle the “mural”, I loved the reaction you had. 😂 I think you did well with what you had. Thanks for all the thought and effort!
James, I’m definitely a little late exploring the werewolf pack and your channel. But I have to tell you that this was the most creative, entertaining, and informative build for the Sims that I have honestly ever seen. I think this build alone showcases your creativity and building prowess! I am sooo impressed. I’m definitely adding this into my game and thank you for sharing this awesome build! I’m a fan!
I kind of imaged the garlic room to be a vampire den with broken wooden stakes (that someone used) and a bar on the door, to keep them locked in. I suppose it might have said “caskets” in that case. James had a cooler interpretation.
So cool and impressive. I loved where you were talking about that back wall in the Crystal Room. “Denoting Conflict” and waving your hands in the air. That part cracked me up. Very much labor intensive. Now it can be in the game like it should be! You are so talented.
Just hafta point out after finding a lot of the lore for Moonwood Mill - the space where you said a werewolf might've been held in the beginning I'm pretty sure it was actually Vlad. I remember reading that many years ago they had captured Vlad in the tunnels but he eventually escaped. I was really impressed at the time I read about that cuz I had explored pretty much all I could of the underground and knew about the room you're building at the part this was talked about so it was really cool that they included it in the actual underground itself lol
Haven't reached the building of Frog City in the livestream video yet-how adorable! Love the lawn chair, too! Looks like it is the current Hot Spot that all the big name Frogs "check in" Snoop Froggy Frog, Ribbit Downey, Jr, Dwight Eisenhopper, Optimius Slime, and of course, Kermit 🐸
Love this!! It would have taken ages but you could have had a werewolf and vampire have a supernatural showdown and then have a sim snap a pic / paint them from reference
Love this. I could see some of the jail items from get to work in the metal room. Like it was a room where werewolves locked themselves in when they were enraged.
I love this world and James' builds/renovations. I DO wish the world itself was a little less dark & rainy most of the time... but that's not a James problem. It's so hard to see anything in videos. It's actually easier to see the basement/tunnels than the outside.
This is one of the coolest Sims builds I have ever seen! What a great idea to bring the lore to life. The execution of it is amazing! The excitement is the same as when I would get a new play set as a kid.
push this video out more and mention the underground sewer system a whole lot more because damn that underground is absolute magic, like imagine that you could actually go through something like this instead of the rabbit hole text while in game, *chefs kiss*
I too think that the sewer system flowing down via the glowy fountains looks great. That is such a perfect detail and I'm glad you stumbled across it! I also totally admire your dedication to actually BUILDING some of the spaces that the pop-ups describe, and even trying to make them at least a little bit functional with stuff like the woodworking table and the cauldron. I personally would have just put a "paint your own" wall mural in the space that's supposed to depict the big battle between plasma and moon, but I do appreciate that you at least tried. XD
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen! Frog City is the BEST THING!! :) I can't imagine how long this took to build. I'm the worst at building, so I'm constantly using things from the gallery. This is just the best!
i know the sims is a game so technically any building is kind of "game design" but this REALLY feels like game design, i feel like im watching you do the set design for a game level. so cool.
I was going to build the underground myself, but you seriously knocked this out of the ball park. I will definitely be using some of these tricks when building sewers in the future.
They gave you what you needed to really get those creative juices flowing with this one! 10/10 my all time favorite build. Incredible job, James. You should do more of these like this!
LOVE THIS!!! The build is amazing originally but this made it 11/10! 👌😍 Such a fun idea and I'll deffo replace the library with this one, would be cool to see you renovate the other lots you made too!! ✨
The art work depicting the battle had to be vague in case Muggles found it. I imagine Moonwood Mills, Glimmerbrook, and Forgotten Hollow are sort of isolated so not every Sim is aware of occults. Aliens don't advertise either.
Ahhh no the enchanted room brought me to tears from laughing, the way you described it and tried to depict the mural lmaooo. " BOOM chaos " .."just to make it a bit clearer " and you put paintings. Dying here haha
I love how much pure happiness James radiates while adding junk to the lot :D Also, I was thinking about the relief vampires vs. werewolves fight scene - did anybody see any paint from reference "no cc cc" done on this in the gallery? I was looking but do not know how to find it (or do it myself). But I would not me surprised if someone thought about this :0
Wow! This is so awesome! I absolutely love watching creative builds like this, it gives me so many ideas and shows me so many new items and techniques. So cool! This was already my favourite lot ever to come with a pack and it's so awesome watching you really let loose with your creativity. I'd love to see you add to the bar lot as well! There'd be so much room there to create some really cool underground areas!
I'd say this is your best build so far, you did such a wonderful job! With each video you show us cool and interesting ideas, you seriously deserve to be super proud of your creations (as for the mural, I've seen people using custom paintings from the gallery that don't show up as cc, maybe somebody is willing to create a piece [or pieces to put together?] that works more accurately, but what you've done is great already)
In your let’s play, you have your werewolf fighting a vampire. Maybe for the magical room, you can have one sim snap a pic of them fighting and then paint it so it can match the description.
This might be your best build yet! I don’t have the pack (yet) but as soon as I do, I’m going to replace your old warehouse with this new and improved one!
I’m not super into how you interpreted the garlic room but I still like what you decided to do with it. I would’ve made all the furniture look much older, since it was a stronghold during the Vampire-Werewolf conflict in the lore of Moonwood Mill. Also, I appreciate that you added a mirror, because that’s a smart way to vet any visitors and see if they’re a vampire or not
that tiny hallway to the werewolf cage is quite creepy, it feels like in a labyrinth-maze 🙃 this is definitely one of your best build on the sims! so glad ea released this pack, this pack have so much cool stuffs in it!
Looks amazing James. You put so much detail. I love it! Frog room and garlic room are probably my favorites, oh I also like the narrow hallway- its all good!
this is absolutely insane i cant believe you actually BUILT the underground system! sims 4 probably couldn’t have been this fun without your creations and let’s plays (,:
"Batuu, yeah!" is the happiest point in every video fr ✨ but also HOLY SHIT DUDE THIS IS SO FRICKIN COOL!!!!! 🤯👑😭✨ (also one thing I love about debug is that because they're not technically real objects your Sims can walk over them no problem so if you clutter the shit out of your landscaping using only debug no worries your Sims won't struggle to get around it 😎)
this is amazing!!! i am both glad this wasnt a lot itself in the game (because you'd be so limited in build/buy and it wouldnt be this spectacular) but also sad because this would offer so much more to the underground. havent made it all the way to the end of the video, but i am really hoping you upload this to the gallery. amazing job
I always see builds like this on the gallery with so much detail and I am not a builder so I always find it so amazing and to see it being built was even crazier. Amazing job!!!👏🏽👏🏽
WOW James! This is amazing! So detailed, I love so much how you’re building the lore into the world. This would have taken so long, this was so fun to watch
this is SOO COOL! Like this is one of the coolest things i've ever seen in the sims! It's so detailed and the atmosphere is AMAZING! I just stared at my laptop in amazement for the whole video!
Soooo freaking cool! I already loved this from watching you create Frog City on the livestream but seriously, you made it even more amazing with these additions omg. Thanks so much
Your Rags to Riches gameplay is great - but I honestly subscribed to you for your building skills, and man, you really knocked it out of the park with this one. 10/10 chef’s kiss. Love love love this build. 👏👏👏
That's not a factory. It's a Were-house.
You win the internet today 😁
Boooooo
A Man-house? Didn't know he was playing Rhythm Heaven Megamix
Is that a person who turns into a house under the full moon?
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
James, I am not exaggerating, this is AMAZING. It is so detailed and thought out - my jaw actually dropped when I saw Frog City and the sewer system. Same! My jaw DROPPED at the sewer/Frog City! Just incredible
could be cool to hide objects with emotional auras in the tunnels so that sims feel specific things when exploring different parts of the tunnels :)
OK, the sewer detail with the water flow IS incredibly cool. 10/10
LilSimsie: I love clutter!
JT: hold my beer
ikr JT could outclutter anyone, anyday B)
"Carved pieces of wood."
James: Places furniture pieces.
Me: "They're wooden stakes, James."
Haha, well that went over my head as well.
Haha I didn’t even connect that, BUT there’s lots of wood piles on the floor, some of those are stakes I’m sure 😅
@@JamesTurnerYT Everything is a stake if you're brave enough 😂
i was thinking the furniture was where they got the wood from 😂

I love this idea. How difficult do you reckon it would be to get bathroom appliances?
Didn't he do something like that when Eco Lifestyle came out?
That's a fun challenge!
Hope he sees it!

Dooooood!! The active flowing sewer idea is so dope!! I thoroughly enjoy all of your builds!!
I've never said "wow this is so cool" so many times watching a build video. I LOVE THIS!!!!!! IT'S SO COOOOOOL!!!!!
You're the Willy Wonka of build mode
You won all of the bonus points with the sewer pour out bit with fountain spouts.... brilliant 👏 👏 👏

That's amazing, James!
(I'm only sad for the giant white seeling, and sadly that can't be changed.)
This is the best idea I have seen so far in Sims community, build wise. Thanks a lot. Great job!
Text bubbles of lore should've been actual places our sims could visit, now we can with this renovation.
If the tunnels worked similarly as Jungle adventure where you can end up in different places would be great
The prompt: _cerulean crystals…_
James: skips the cerulean crystals and uses the purple ones instead
😭
that made me sad too... at least we can edit the lot when we put it in our own games

this is SOO COOL! Like this is one of the coolest things i've ever seen in the sims! It's so detailed and the atmosphere is AMAZING! I just stared at my laptop in amazement for the whole video!
Amazing creativeness and out of the box thinking! This is world building! I love it.
Soooo freaking cool! I already loved this from watching you create Frog City on the livestream but seriously, you made it even more amazing with these additions omg. Thanks so much
Lmao. Frog City! Brilliant!! You are SO creative, James. I love all your builds for this pack, but this is absolutely the best. Well done!
Your Rags to Riches gameplay is great - but I honestly subscribed to you for your building skills, and man, you really knocked it out of the park with this one. 10/10 chef’s kiss. Love love love this build. 👏👏👏
