    You are good with the dogs. Poor pooch with so much itchy fur. I think it is good to be firm with him. He’ll appreciate how he feels afterwards.

    Exactly how I do pet grooming. I'm a no-nonsense person with dogs that act like they want to bite, I tell them 'no' and continue on until I'm done. Then I love on them. I find that they soon get the point and just put up with it all, knowing I don't mean any harm; but instead that I'm trying to help them. ~ Lisa

      Yes!! This exactly!! Love on them AFTER they are done. Not during the process. I COMPLETELY agree with this!

    OH, you DID give him a Mohawk. Teddy, Teddy, Teddy did pretty good this time. I wish I could find a good head hold to keep Squirt still for trimming on her face. She is doing a little better but Patience is not my Super Power. Great Job, B.

    I understand the importance of staying with the same groomer. We had the same groomer for 8 years, then we moved and had to find another one, she was not familiar with him (and didn’t love him the way our first groomer did), he bit her in the first groom, so clearly she wasn’t a good choice. After that, we got another groomer, told her he has been groomed every 6 weeks his entire life and had never bit before, but thought we should let her know. She was great with him, especially the first groom because she knew he had a bad experience with the last groomer. He was also a shih Tzu terrier, but he was a great little guy. Regular grooming is so important, for everyone, so is giving any behaviour issues, or past experiences to the groomer.

      Wow, that was a fast groom! Teddy is still very much, Teddy, but he definitely did much better than last time, and he was even in significantly worse condition than last time! He literally looked like a duster that’d been left in the garage for months.. For what you were given, I think the outcome was still very well done! The mohawk was hilarious, but also kind of suited him👏🏾

    Sorry he was in such bad shape, again. I did my fair share of dogs that were like this (and worse), plus add the aggression. I could smell his ears/skin when you showed them. Wish people took better care of their dogs---grooming and training---it would make life easier for you. Sorry, not a fan of the mohawk. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to more videos.

    Well, I mean, if you’re gonna let your dog get that long of a hair, you can at least keep it brushed every day that’s why you don’t have all those knots, right

    I think the dogs should keep the same groomer because thedog will know that groomer and the dog will obey much better

    Also, no, neutering or keeping intact has no real effect on how mean a dog may be for this process. In fact, neutering can actually *cause or contribute to* behavior issues. I'm actually more strict with neutereds than intacts because of that. ~ Lisa

      Agree again!!! It’s always great to see other groomers that understand.

    • @Aussie_OiOiOi

      The dog is not mean. His behaviour stems from fear and pain. Matting is extremely painful for the dog 🙄 Also, neutering a dog reduces the risk of prostate cancer and has many benefits. It’s called responsible pet ownership

      @@Aussie_OiOiOi According to new research results, neutering can and does cause / contribute to a *lot* of other behavior and health *problems*. All because of the *loss* of hormones.

    You do realise that matting which is tight and close to a dog’s skin, is PAINFUL right? And that shaving the matts can hurt them? Hence, the aggression. I’d be aggressive too, if my owner’s continuously neglected my coat and I was in constant pain. Instead of ‘disciplining’ the dog, maybe direct your frustration to the bloody idiot owners? 🙄😡

    • @TheLuvOfDogs
      @TheLuvOfDogs  2 месяца назад

      Orrrr, you could watch his previous video that is linked to this video where he was in GREAT shape and he was still aggressive. One thing to note, most groomers know their clients. Teddy is an aggressive Shih Tzu, most Shih Tzu’s are like this for grooming. If you took the time to research you’d know this. Happy Easter 😘☺️

    The end result looked terrible. The mohawk no. You kept saying he was bad. He was doped up which was good for you. But you said he had bad things, his ears and face. Sorry did you leave that till the end when he was coming round
