A major mindset change that worked for me was that no one losses 100 lbs at once. You lose 1lb a 100 times. Celebrate every 10lbs or so. Treat yourself to non food rewards. Whatever that looks like. A massage, new fitness equipment, clothes, or whatever hobbies you enjoy.
My wife joined me on my carnivore journey after I lost 45 lbs in three weeks. I'm excited and I hope when she sees her own success it will allow for us to change the diet of our children. Then we can empty the pantry and freezer.
I'm so glad i found you guys! I saw your 2 month update, and to see you guys are still on here is great! I'm seeing my Dr. Soon to discuss starting this, my why is bc i have very bad acid reflux i heard this could help! Im sure he'll tell me to lose 30-50 lbs When/how do you start introducing new foods
Hi, I'm finding that my scale is my triger. Struggling through a 2 month stall. After I get on my scale and the numbers are still stuck I feel hopeless, mortified and like I said.... Stuck! But I know looking at your videos, to carry on. Thanks you, needed this this morning
Have a friend take your scale and hide it from you. You are better off without that obsessive focus on your body weight. Focus on HOW YOU FEEL! I still have to take a few minutes every day to think about how much better I feel now that I’ve lost the extra fat (fat, NOT weight) I’m no longer carrying around, plus the reduction in health risks due to becoming fat-adapted for energy instead of progressing towards carb-fueled diabetes.
After being on this journey I have learned the hard way that, HEALING IS NOT LINEAR. Healing happens when it wants to. Rushing it does not make it move faster.
I find the concept of “treating yourself” to be problematic for me. My mind no longer gives me the signal of “You deserve….”whatever”. I’m 5 weeks into strict carnivore and those thought and ideas are gone! Not to say that that was the case on my previous attempts at Carnivore but I’m sure glad they no longer plague me. In my mind, totally abstinence of those triggers brought me there. We all have to go with what works for us. One journey is as valid as the next. Just to have found Keto/Carnivore is such a life changer that to nit-pick the details seems silly!
When she said this I immediately freaked and paused to look this up. Everything I can find says there are no seed oils if you're simply getting a plain patty. HOWEVER, there are seed oils in the cheese. According to their website, the cheese contains soy lecithin, which is just soybean oil. So, stay away from the McCheese, bros. BTW, you guys are the only carnivore channel my wife tolerates, mostly because she thinks you guys are super cute and she loves your babies! :)
Seed oil fear mongering is inaccurate and not corraborated by studies. Yes, deep frying oil causes them to form transfats and transfats are the worst kind of fats. Other than that for example extra virgin canola oil is incredibly healthy much healthier than butter for instance.
@@FoxMama10 Not the one in Florida. Small patties are frozen. Not the Quarter pounder patties. The one here in Philly isn't frozen either. I think it's something they started.
For those who didn't know buffalo wild wings uses tallow for frying so naked tenders or traditional wings is a nice treat but fried foods are something personally have to stay away from
My reason why I would love to lose weight and in the future I want to have kids and find a beautiful partner and feel better with my depression and anxiety and overthinking an more. I hope you see this
As someone who struggles with anxiety (cait) I can say I do think it’s helped. Not only just getting rid of the processed food, but also the confidence you gain. Also, if you’re struggling with depression, yes of course, try changing your diet and hopefully it will help. But there is also no shame in seeking medical care. Take care of yourself. ❤️💪
Personally, during all five of my pregnancies I had major food aversions. During my fourth I couldn't even be around meat without throwing up. Food choices while pregnant can be so incredibly difficult and it's not always a matter of just choosing not to eat healthy.
@@ashleyjones6888some people have no aversions during pregnancy and domestic people have terrible nausea. I don’t know why that varies so much, but it does.
It’s not that I didn’t eat healthy, but I could not always eat low-carb and definitely was not focused on losing weight. First trimester I could hardly stand anything so I survived on chicken noodle soup and a few saltine crackers. I could not tolerate anything else. And with twins, that nausea and vomiting daily continued until 20 weeks. And even then, after 20 weeks, there were still strong meat aversions. So I tried to eat as healthfully as I could, but it was not always low carb. But now, I can focus on low-carb. The thought of eggs doesn’t make me sick anymore. And for the last week? Well I’ve had smash burgers every night. Everyone is different during pregnancy, and I’m glad I’m able to get back on track 👍
@@jeannedigennaro6484 One theory I have heard a lot is that the more aversions you have, the more mineral deficiencies you have. I'm not sure if that's true at all but I found it pretty interesting.
Me and my wife have been on keto for a while. I lost 83 pounds she has lost 60 pounds but we have both stopped losing for about 6 months, and i dont know why. I switched to ketovore. I just thought it might kick start me back losing, but nothing. Is the any ideas in this community to the reason for this. Thanks
Nope, can't clean out pantry. Others in the house won't do it, and noodles are their staple. My resolve is still there. Nope. Hiding food is still a thing. Resolve is too.

Exactly- a great mindset shift for sure 👍

Loved this one! Y’all are getting so great at being comfortable on camera. ❤ Congrats on your sweet babies!
Cravings are worse when we are sleep deprived or when we stay up late. With newborns and a 2 year old I’m sure it’s hard to get enough sleep.
❤ So glad to see yall back on video. Congrats on the twins!
i’m trying to lose 100lbs and i’m super excited for this diet❤
You got this!
You should both be very proud of yourselves. 👍👍

You are the sweetest couple! God bless you and your adorable children! Thank you for the carnivore encouragement ❤☺️🥩
Love your advice of keeping ( temporarily) the fast food habit but modifying what you buy there.
There are no seed oils in McDonald’s patties you cook it in its own fat!!😊

Mcdonalds Quarter pounder patties are not frozen and cook to order.

So good to see y'all! Good video; as always. I hope you and the babies are doing well.

Lol! You're still cute, but so is he, lucky lady!

Great tips! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
McDonalds patties are not cooked with any seed oils and are 100% beef.
Thanks for the correction 👍

I smoke while driving 🙄 but it's fun to hide fast food in the car. Been there. (is my 3rd week)
I'm not sure why you stopped eating health because of your pregnancy but happy you had a good pregnancy 🎉congratulations

What do you order at Jersey Mike’s?
There are not seed oils in McDonald patties FYI
Is there a lot of lose skin on carnivore.? That's my concern.
Everyone is a sugar addict, dude. It's even in our drinks.

Can you gradually get rid of everything BUT the noodles? Like eliminate one other carb item per week - like potatoes, rice, beans, cookies, sugar?
Are you still on the carnivore diet? I saw a video of you from months ago saying that you would get out of the diet.
I’m still considered carnivore/ animal based
