I’m starting my carnivore journey today. In the past if I do a steak and a salad and eat everything before 4 PM, I lose weight. I’ve been miserable loading carbs eating ice cream, destroying myself. I’m in pain and I’m fat. It’s time to make a change. So I got up and took a walk and I’m gonna go get myself some steak and put it in the air fryer Day one 1️⃣
Congratulations. It's a journey so don't get discouraged just stay the course and you will see great results. This community is a great one and there are tons of stories and inspirational videos of people turning there lives around on the clean way of eating. Praying for your progress and success.
Good call! Aldi rocks! And a lot of their food comes from other countries that have stricter guidelines than the US, so even if it isn't labeled organic it is still cleaner.
Save your clean, bacon fat have it warm and liquefied use 8 ounces in a 16 ounce wide mason jar add two egg yolks, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, teaspoon of Dijon mustard, salt pepper to taste. Put a handmixer in it turn it on high 30 seconds later or less you have a very tasty “baconnaise”. It even beats the primal brand mayonnaise and then you’re not supporting craft, big food and a whole lot less money. For more tips watch some of the DIY videos for homemade mayonnaise and substitute the liquefied bacon fat for the oils they recommend.
What a great video I live in the UK I make my own carnivore mayonnaise at home I use 1 egg separated to 1/2 cup of any animal fat 1tsp mustard 1tsp apple cider vinegar 1/4tsp salt I put everything except the egg whites and animal fat together then slowly add the melted animal fat to the mixture whisking all the time until thick then I add the egg whites at the end and mix for 10 seconds until incorporated and it will last for 10 days in the fridge if it lasts that long
Thank you for all your information. You really helped me and I can make some better meals and tasty meals and I appreciate all of your both of your helps.
If you guys had a Kroger store, ours is Fred Meyer, in Boise Idaho you can find simple truth organic America cheese slices. Best cheese on a burger ever. Exactly like that kraft American cheese but totally clean
Please do not get offended my remark 🙏🏻 Since I have been on the Lion diet: ruminant meat and water, I am experiencing that by no longer buying condiments, coffee, electrolytes, sauces, and other KETO approved ingredients, I have a lot more cash flow available for buying chuck roasts and steaks. I am also on a tight budget x
Also go to Costco once in a while and buy and entire choice ribeye thats really fatty if possible. Usually 12 dollars a pound. I cut about 13 steaks. Use all the trimmings to grind my own ground beef. I'll cut very thick ribeyes and cook them in oven first so theyre as tender as prime steaks. Then sear on grill. Sometimes burgers get old so I've felt better on ribeyes most night although yes even with that Costco strategy that is expensive
I go to my local Hispanic meat market. They have so much meat cheap. I just bought quite a bit a few days ago for like $34 but it’s just me and my wife as well.
You guys should look for a tomahawk ribeye at Walmart once in a while. Put it in the oven for an hour at 275. Then put it on the grill high heat for one minute each side. You'll be blown away
I love Macs pork rinds. Glad you read the ingredients on Macs. The Hot pork rind ingredients are pretty bad. I still have them from time to time. Have a great Memorial day weekend!
Check the rottisiere chicken dudes here in Scotland i shop at asda which is owned by walmart and i checked the ingredients lately on the packs they put out later in the day and they are seasomed with caramalised sugar and dextrose, you wont see that if you buy it straight from the ovens ...not buying them again but will buy uncooked chicken.
Oh wow there’s even corn syrup in your burger patties? 😮 I never see that here in Germany. Overall the prices aren’t that bad compared to here but people say in the US you still have to add tax on top of the price on the label?
Your cheese pork rinds have yellow 5 in it a very bad ingredient. Just wanted you to be aware and do your research. Now on to positives…You guys have gone through a great transformation! Great job!
Is that Chosen mayo better than the Primal Kitchen one? I can NOT eat the PK one. 😛 Trying to find a cleaner mayo but scared to spend money on more I may not like.
@@carnivorecouple That's awesome! So happy for you both on your journeys. I want to give Carnivore an honest 30 day try. Just haven't been consistent yet
I stay away from anything from Primal Kitchen. I don't like many things the owner (Mark Sisson) has said over the years, and I also don't like that he tries to take things other people have created and make them sound like his until he gets called out on it or sued. Just my personal preference.
@@Karisa1316 Mark Sisson put down keto and carnivore lifestyles until he saw their popularity and decided to cash in, hence the Prival Kitchen brand. He released a book with training using the go slower to get faster method and the 180 minus your age for your pulse range. He never said this was the MAF method used by Phil Maffetone for decades until he got called out on it and then started to give him credit. He blames the training of athletes in the 70s and 80s with too high of volume and intensity for athletes getting hurt physically and messing up their biological systems without mentioning he was one of the coaches that did this to countless athletes. Those were just a few examples. Again, I will state it is my position not to use any product or program with Mark's name attached to it. It is for everyone else to decide whether they care to or not.
Please, Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet: (Sorry if i already posted before but i dont know what to do) I am now over 180 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else but 500-600g of COCKED meat plus 7-8 eggs in a day. All Divided in 2 meals) I am now 35 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-22%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss- HIT Workouts) I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems. I lost about 17 lbs(8kg) in the first 9 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 8 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements like waist, legs, arms and neck ).In fact i have gained 2,5 lbs(1KG between weeks 10-12, but it might be just water. I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor have I changed my body composition significantly I am now over 12 weeks with no body fat lost. So I would like to ask a few question about the Carnivore diet: 1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnivore diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat) 2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you?(how many weeks or months) 3-Is the Carnivore diet effective for those who are aldreay healthy and just need to improve body composition? I am affraid this way of eating is too restrictive, for a healthy person, with no aditional benefit from any other whole food diet. PS: Most of my time as a Carnivore i have not experience most Carnivore benefits or lost any body fat. Also, Sorry for any grammar mistake, i am Brazilian and english is not my first language. Thank you for your attention!
We save up for a year and purchase a whole beef at a time. We pay less than $4/pound for all beef - ground, ribeyes, filet mignon, roasts. Soo worth it. I can't believe grocery prices lately. We've been buying a whole beef at a time for 4 years now, I believe. Also, did you know how easy it is to make your own mayo? So much cheaper, too! ruclips.net/video/PS6YfbXPH2M/видео.html

Better as ingredients or taste? The chosen mayo tastes “normal” to us if that helps!
