What a stunning garden your clients are in for. So happy to see the bloopers still coming 😊 you are so endearing. Hope you and Michael have a wonderful weekend.
So much to love about your videos. You are so real, so genuine, hence the bloopers at the end. And then, there are the plants you selected, stunners every one! 💚
Gorgeous plants and colors. Makes me want to start a new area (If I had room) I always liked pinks and purples, but keep adding yellows and oranges. Hard to stay with a lovely color theme. Yes, bloopers are funny!
I LOVE your videos. ❤ I can't wait for the next one. You are my muse. While I adore them, I'm very disappointed with the 'Bloomstruck' hydrangeas' performance in my Z4b garden. I think my sandy soil is just too crappy. Second round of plants are not looking good. I've practically replaced the soil with peat moss and compost and added Espoma fertilizer (I've since heard of adding it as a drench). I'm thinking of replacing the worst one of the three with Invincibell 'garnet.' It's in slightly more sun than the others. Gardening isn't for sissies.
Yes! Cardonna Salvia is my favorite! I plant a lot of them. I have paired them with oriental poppy and coronation gold yarrow and they look great with them both!
Love your bloopers - you are adorable and they make me laugh 😂. Love all of your plant choices too! I have many of the same varieties in my zone 5b garden. I love the pink guara but like you said it does not come back reliably. I planted a white one that I purchased at a local plant sale last year and thought for sure that it wouldn’t return but it has and better than ever. I mulched it over really well for the winter and I’m hoping that helped. I also bought some Bowman’s root at your suggestion as a guara substitute and it is beautiful this year ❤
You surely picked out a perfect collection. I have some of them, but because my garden leans more to shade now I have to make difficult choices. Love your videos thanks for sharing. 👍❤️😊
Also about Plox paniculata. P. Flame Purple, Purple Flame, Barfourteen is the bomb for a super saturated deep red-purple. Gorgeous, and the top performer in Mt Cuba trials as "Barfouteen". Bred in the Netherlands. I don't know if all of the Flame series has the same genetics. We grow azalea Red Formosa in zone 8 southeast, and Barfouteen is the same color.
Lovely plant choices! I especially love that ‘Siskiyou Pink’ Gaura. I garden in southern NJ and I can’t find that taller variety in my local garden centers. Would you be able to share the name of the garden center where you found that plant? Thank you!
It's impressive how healthy those plants are! I'm in 6b but I have areas where all sorts of more tender plants make it through the winter, so I am going to try the nassella! An alternative for colder zones that isn't quite as fine textured is sporobolus heterolepis. It's always interesting experimenting with tender plants -- sometimes they survive or re-seed themselves. I planted something on top of an area where I had salvia "Black & Blue" last year, but then the salvia came back to life along with what I think are some of its progeny. Thanks for the tip about Mt. Cuba trial -- I love phlox as they have one of the most heavenly scents in the garden, but the mildew can be devastating. I have tried a number of cultivars that are supposed to be mildew resistant but aren't. I have had good luck following the Mt. Cuba results for other plants, so am encouraged about phlox. I am looking forward to seeing how you put these plants together -- and also trying to fight the urge to go buy more plants!
I'm in zone 6A, I have the Black & Blue salvia it comes back every year even though it's not supposed to. I cut it to the ground in the late fall and cover with a 5 gallon bucket, it keeps it dry and provides a little bit of insulation.
Here in CT, our macrophylla hydrangeas have no blooms either. 😢 I’m lucky if I get a couple blooms on the reblooming varieties. My mountain and oak leaf hydrangeas are blooming nicely, though.
I too am in zone 6. Glad you mentioned about the older hydrangea types buds being frozen off this season, so we're getting far less (or no) blooms this year. When do you suggest cutting off those sticks that were left as the result of that freeze?
I chose to go with Porteranthus Pink Profusion instead of Gaura SP - it has some of the same feel but is just more reliable here in Zone 6 New England and is in addition somewhat shade tolerant
I didn’t think stipa was hardy for me in zone 6, but I found it at Lowe’s on clearance with a tag that claims zone 5 🤷♀️ I guess for a few bucks if it doesn’t live that’s ok. I’ll try to site it somewhere special to give it a good chance.
Hi and thank you, Yulia. Beautiful varieties!! 💜
Beautiful choices! Can’t wait to see them planted in the garden space. 😊
The Nassella hair 🤣 That's a beautiful palette, and I'm sure your client is going to be thrilled!
Love you showing off varieties. Do more vids like this. Informative and entertaining.

Guara is one of my favorite plants!
I am so looking forward to seeing these all planted. They are all so gorgeous!
Hi Yulia. Always a pleasure.
I hope your mother is doing well. You must miss her so!
I miss them so much 😔
Gorgeous plants. The garden will be beautiful. 😍😍😍
I love Mexican feather grass so much. I grow it as an annual from time to time but I sure wish it were hardy here.
Love your out takes! I have been using Ruby Star echinacea for years in my North Carolina garden. It does really well.
Great selection, love 💕 them all and the bloopers 😊😅😊
Can hardly wait to see how beautiful that landscape will be when you have it planted. See u soon!
I love the color selection!
Gorgeous. I'll love the planting video.
Thank you for the video. You always show really good varieties.
Hardy geraniums are not to be found over here in stores but i can see it in old gardens. Ooo i love that gaura is bi color!
I grew Mexican feather grass when we lived in SoCal, it was beautiful but very invasive.
Your hilarious, thank you Yuliya 🌸💚🙃
Great plants!!! I love my apple blossom geranium, and no one can say I under use them. You can never have too many!!!
Beautiful plants!! Love the bloopers!!!
Love your enthusiasm for all the plants! 😊
Absolutely gorgeous selection 🍃🌸🍃
You surely picked out a perfect collection. I have some of them, but because my garden leans more to shade now I have to make difficult choices. Love your videos thanks for sharing. 👍❤️😊

Beautiful plants!!!
Such a gorgeous selection! I'm a big gaura fan but have only found the white version. Will look for the pink to add!
Beautiful choices (as always)!! I have a few of those exact plants in my garden.
Wow beautiful love the colors 👍😊❤️🙏
Sweet!
Stellar ⭐️ picks! Can’t wait for the update 😊
It's going to be amazing!!!! ❤
Your bloopers are the BEST!!! ❤ (You sound just like I do! 😂)
Plus, I really liked the plants, I think I need some gaura!

Love Phlox!
Yuliya do you deadhead hydrangeas, or just let them bloom once and then dry on the shrub?
I need some of those blue paradise phlox!!!
Lovely plant choices! I especially love that ‘Siskiyou Pink’ Gaura. I garden in southern NJ and I can’t find that taller variety in my local garden centers. Would you be able to share the name of the garden center where you found that plant? Thank you!
I’m still looking for a lace cap to add to my garden. I might have order one but I’m always nervous about that in summer.
Love the Bloopers 😂😂
I really like the upright look of that yarrow. I have a white one but it gets super tall and flops. I may have to see if I can find that firefly one.

Hi Yulia,
Beautiful selection of plants! What garden center did you go to in the beginning of the video?
Orange Garden Center NJ
I didn’t think stipa was hardy for me in zone 6, but I found it at Lowe’s on clearance with a tag that claims zone 5 🤷♀️ I guess for a few bucks if it doesn’t live that’s ok. I’ll try to site it somewhere special to give it a good chance.
the secret is not too wet. grows in new mexico zone 6 like crazy. seeds everywhere
@@lainyjane4581 yes I figured. I can control that during the growing season but during winter all bets are off. I’ll give it some thought…
🥰👏🏼🙏
Can you do a video on long blooming perennials?
💜🩷🤍💚
Awesome. Did you have dental work today?
What ??????
@@lindaga820 her lip seemed to be holding to one side, like mine does when I have dental numbing. Of course, I could be wrong.
Those hydrangeas are really something. We don’t get blue in my area-oh how I would love that color!
