another handy tip, thanks peter.. i notice with some of these cars/vans that even after a service reset on diag machine, they need to be done in car aswell...
What was the outcome of the Mercedes e220 I was currieous to know how you fixed it I had a problem with a e220 myself a sam module problem I got it fixed it was covered in mildue from moisture and the car not been used only 67 k on it from new a polish lad from a breakers yard that I use fixed it just opened it up and cleaned it I had no joy from Mercedes dealers they just said I needed a new sam module and I have to bring it in to be fitted and coaded to the car just currieous to know how you finished up with that Mercedes with the bad can module
Hi Patrick, I actually didn’t remember that I said I’d do a part 3. What I had done in part 2 was the fixing of the car, I fitted the radar sensor & the adapting done with the Autel worked out perfectly. All messages & fault gone except for the airbag issue, which I didn’t do as of yet but I will try to get part 3 recovered this week 😉👍👍👍
I have a strange question to ask 1.8 tdci Ford s max timing tensioner the pin is supposed to be in the centre of the two lines. I’ve tried two new ones and I cannot get it to lineup. I’ve looked on RUclips it says too have it at 3 o’clock that is not working 🥲
I wonder could you have the wrong timing belt kit ?? Also I can remember that the tensioner only turns one way, it has a little arrow on the front of it I believe 🤔🤔 Other than that record a video & send it to me
Worked for me Peter. Thanks for posting
@@PeterRichmond-xx7xz well done Peter 💪💪

Yes Lar, this is a grumpy old service light & scantool doesn’t do it so I’m recording it nearly for my own benefit 😤😂😂😂
