I’m assuming you plugged composite cables into component inputs that are strictly component inputs. If you plug your yellow into your green this is what you get black and white video. I’ve made sure to buy a tv that does both composite and component as well as HD and 4k.
Do you have your TV set to component or AV? That black & white looks like you have your TV set to Component when it should be AV. Component shares a few cables in common with AV so there is still signal picking up, but it's not showing properly since it's designed for AV. Could just be an actual problem of the console, but it looks exactly like whenever I accidentally set my gamecube to component when it was supposed to be AV.
I bought the Cool Baby 600 in 1 with HDMI and it works great! Yes there are a few hacks in the system, but even the hacks are fun! The controller has 4 buttons, and has turbo. Kids love it.

I was on the 80’s Cruise back in 2018 (just a couple of months before this was uploaded), and they had not one but TWO fake NES consoles practically identical to the one shown here, except the color was actually working. And OMG, it was built like crap! It might have been a tolerable way to play NES games on the ship, but the A and B buttons on *every* *controller* were so loose that they kept falling out! I had to hold and use them in a very specific way and even then the buttons still kept falling out, that’s how bad it was! And keep in mind: this was a professional cruise hosted by the original MTV VJ’s with special guest Rick Springfield, and featured performances by beloved bands from that decade like Loverboy, Thomas Dolby, Colin Hay from Men at Work, The Romantics, Berlin, and quite a few more. No disrespect to anyone involved, 'cause I had such a great time on the cruise. I may not have been alive during the 80's (I was born in late '94), but I am genuinely fascinated by the decade as a whole and love it's music more than any other decade, and being a gamer with a love for the retro I can appreciate the inclusion of a way to play NES games as well as a few 80's arcade games in their original cabinets. But I have to ask: they could afford all these bands that contributed to such an iconic era and a big luxury liner to hold it on and decorate with, but they couldn't afford an actual NES or even the NES Classic Edition (which had been on the market for almost a year and a half by that point)?
The fact that it’s so light and only has composite out leads me to believe it’s just a NES on a chip-miniaturized components that don’t emulate the NES but actually just _are_ the original system. It sounds cool, but they gave been around for a while and shouldn’t cost this much while working this poorly.
how did you hook it up? If you plugged it into an actual composite port then it's the console but a lot of TVs don't have it anymore because you can put into the component port on the green one but some will only give you a black and white one because it doesn't support composite. If you plugged it in through the component port make sure it is not your TV.
Looks better than the one I got last year. I got one with 500 games build in. Over half of the games didn't work (including all the original games from the real NES classic.) Most of the other games were weird hack games. I did a video on it on my channel if anyone wants to see how terrible it was.
bought one at an Asian kitchen utility store (dont ask why they sold it there). I thought it was pretty cool and I did have fun, so not complaining too much.
I've got one. I'm pretty sure that it's a clone of the NES, which can now be cloned onto a really tiny PCB. Zelda couldn't be on it, because Zelda could save games, and had a battery in the cartridge so the memory wouldn't lose it's charge. But, I don't think it has any Nintendo produced games at all.
I know I'm late to the party here, but when you purchase an item to connect to your TV set online and it comes with a North American power plug then you have an NTSC device there, not a PAL one. That explains your color issue, this device probably uses "artifact color" which is quite common in North American 8-bit computer and game display output. Such systems show up on PAL as mostly monochrome, with maybe a hint of pink and green to it.

I bought one back in 2016, arrived in 3 months or more, I think I paid the absolute lowest I could on a certain bidding site that's popular. Like $10 or $15 max, knowing it's kind of crap, because of those fake Mario ROM hacks of non Mario games. So I gave it to my friend, and I saw that he would appreciate it.
I have that Pikachu Tetris game on a multi cart it's not bad actually... When you clear a line Pikachu gets excited starts clapping and jumping..also as the game progresses the piece fall speed doesn't increase ...
All Black and White
