I think you take it up a notch if you paint the wheel centers the same body color. Most of those Mercedes back then came with steek wheels with body color steel hubcaps.
Corey NEEDS to try these on his car. They'd suit his 190 a little more in my opinion. Your Benzo looks great on air though, cool photo spot at the end.

pulled the heater blower unit out of my 280S to replace the burnt out motor and the 2 0 rings. Damn tight fit! How the he'll did they fit this 0 tolerance piece! Horible job.
I know you don't have time before you go to Helen but I think the white should be painted the same as the body color. Or maybe a light gold clearcoat over the white.

Just try a satin black wrap over the white on the wheels. It will look dynamic! The white takes away from the potential that wheel offers
