And I think it would be reasonable to expect a dealer to know all the fine details on what I actually ordered for US$50-60,000. First level confusion was just knowing what each package actually includes (and not includes) like the 302A, Sport, FX4. You did an amazing job explaining things. And most importantly, you answered a lot about the "you can only get this, if you have that" type of questions/confusion. By far the BEST video on explaining the F150 on YT.

I’m looking for the F-150 FX4 Off Road (302A / 5.0L V-8) trailer tow package with power heated mirrors , 3.31 rear end , 6.5 ft bed , engine block heater , I like the sport appearance look without chrome , slate cloth appointed interior with center console / folding shifter and work station ,large touch screen , blue or graphite exterior, LT 265 off road tires upgrade, ( are those a Goodyear AT ?) 18” wheels , tailgate step , accessories plugs in the bed , I’m in Northern Michigan.
Also - when buildling the ford on their website, there are "discount" markers, such as "Equipment Group 301A Discount" "3.0L Diesel Discount", what do those mean? THanks!
Would like to order a super crew w an 8 foot bed. Waiting to see if cybertruck offers a crew with an 8 foot bed. Can not belive does not come with that combination
I bought one of these trucks 302A and after 6000 miles the APIM went out. The parts are not available and still waiting after eight weeks with no expected date to receive the part. Display screen is dark, no navigation, no split screen , no clock, display is 1/2 size. Not a happy camper.
Sorry for all the questions separately but one more: the stowable bed extender that you show at ~1h20, it doesn't appear as any option on any of the build options on the website, how can it be added?

You and Ford REALLY need to stop showing heated seats when talking about 301a package. The literal picture of the 301a package on the website has heated seats. 301a does NOT come with heated seats.
If you go to the 33:21 timestamp, I explain all the features on the 301A equipment group and I do not mention heated seats. I have no control of Ford's photos on their website. Which is a great reason to watch my videos for accurate information.
Question : fyi, this video is awesome! I am watching the part about the HD payload package. You mentioned it’s not available on the chrome or sport appearance packages w the 302A package. Does that mean it’s already included w those or it just simply not available that way? I have a Max tow XLT 302a sport
Thank you for the informative video. Looking at purchasing a 2021 XLT Super Crew 302A series with 360 degree camera to tow a 28.5 ft trailer that ways approx 5,800lbs dry/ 7,500 max. Need a payload in the 1,900-2,100lb range. Would going with the tow trailer package and adding the 36 gallon fuel tank/"18 inch wheels work, or would I need to stick with the max trailer package and 20" wheels? Would these options still allow me to possibly purchase with trailer tow mirrors? Thanks in advance.
You wouldn't have to go to the max trailer tow package, it includes the 36 gallon fuel tank but does require you to have the 20" wheels. The Trailer Tow Package will be enough to tow the trailer.
Is there any way to get power-folding side mirrors on a XLT? Thanks for the video! (Also - the retracting hard cover apperas on lariat but not on the xlt as an option, is it?)
Power-folding side mirrors are not available on XLT, retracting hard cover is available on all trims. It is available as an aftermarket Ford accessories add
I just bought a loaded xlt 302a I have that tailgate feature but it just slams when I use the key to drop it and won’t power back up any feed back helps thank you
Service needs to look at it, when you use the remote to lower it, it should go down slowly, not just drop. XLT won't have power up tailgate, just power down.
@@longmcarthurford Oh no it wasnt you. On the ford website when you're building a truck on there you can't have any kind of bedcover if you choose a drop in or spray liner.

Standard tank is 26 gallon on supercrew, 36 gallon is optional. Tailgate step is also optional. I talk about all optional equipment at 1:03:48

Yes it will, only way to get the console shifter is with the XLT Sport Appearance Package.

No, it's simply not available with appearance packages.
