You know they add detergents to toothpaste to make it foam. The foaming action doesn't do anything. I figured foamy car soap is just for marketing too.
The Blue Prelude makes me miss the old days. I bought a Nordic Mist Silver 98 Prelude in Nov 97... had it until the summer of 04, 155k miles, it had its third Automatic Trans. The third one didn't shift correctly after while. But I loved the car when it didn't have Trans problems. Yes I like the TW ICE WASH....It's more luxurious!! How does the 02 Prelude make you feel compared to the Civic, behind the wheel?
it's a 2001 actually. It's very ancient in comparison to the hyper smooth civic. Actually having it go in for rust removal and repainting in December, just talked to the company today.
Nice!! Enjoyed the video man! I made a video using the Wash and Wax and Wet Wax on my work truck the other day! Works really well! Now I’ll see how long it lasts!
with how thin of wax it has, I am guessing no more than a week or two max, especially here in Florida. Now the Seal and Shine lasts for months and I'm guessing the new spray ceramic will as well.
Yay a new video! I'm ok with the lack of suds and at least turtle wax gave a warning about it. If it performs as they promise then that's enough for me.
Long time subscriber good to see ya back!! WTH on those instructions, Turtle Wax should definitely revamp that and add a separate“Tips or For Best Results” section.
If you don't want wax use Ice Snow Foam, I can't see any reason it wouldn't work with the Hybrid line but that's a question for TW of course. That's my plan for most washes and every 3rd os so use the wash and wax. Then use the Wet Wax and Detailer to maintain.
Looking forward to seeing this in the UK. Currently getting fantastic results from TW Dry and Shine (AKA TW Ice Seal and Shine in the US) on my new Civic Sport. 🚗
I would like to see the beading on the roof, like you mentioned after using the soap, it enhanced the hydrophobic properites of the coating. Would be nice to see in action
They need to make one like Meguiars Wash Plus. Great strip wash! Too bad it’s discontinued. If they make one like that, I’ll be a sole TW user for life. Forget the other brands!
I just brought the whole line before seeing this. If I wanted the foam, cause I love FOAM PARTIES, you think I should use the snow foam first? Then wash with the ceramic wash and wax. or is that overkill... lol something about foam makes it mandatory first.
Hey, Chad! Would you be able to make a video taking all of the products you have/ have tested and rate them in category?? ie:( tireshines, waxes, washes etc..) that would be super helpful from your view, almost like how Doug Demuro does his “Doug score” lol
Nice One. In terms of safeguarding ones clear coat on the car and maximizing shine on dark metallic colours, what is the best wax you recommend in your own opinion? One from Meguiars & one from Turtle Wax
Great video! Like you said, Turtle Wax needs a straight-forward car wash. They have soaps that provide some protection, one for the foam cannon, and one that can even strip old waxes, but not one that I can use along with my other go-to sealants/waxes. If they made one that was more affordable than Meguiar's Gold Class, they would have a winner for sure!
I spoke to the head chemist many times over the few days and that is one thing I specifically asked for. I said make it under the ICE line so it will still be good but cheaper than this ceramic wash and wax. He said he will talk to them but you know how that goes. Bosses make the final decision.
@@Acc0rd79 I sure hope they listen and follow through with a product like that. Regardless, it's nice to see TW coming out with higher quality products. I am definitely planning on trying out the Ceramic Spray and Wet Wax. I trust your judgement! Lol
Ordered mine on Nov.1st. Suppose to arrive today. Now its arriving in 3weeks..bullshxt. I did get the other 3 bottles(ceramic detailer, ceramic coating & ceramic wax).
I decided to try this simply as a one step solution wash and wax. Figure if I wash it twice? It will add a decent amount of protection and then when I'm not lazy I can add TW seal n shine or the hybrid wax or ceramic coating later. I'm washing a 2001 dodge 2500 with camper shell so waxing is a b****
B Fielder I would agree. It’s not very sudsy in a cannon but in a bucket it is very concentrated. The cleaning power and the fact that it leaves behind nothing is amazing. It’s my favorite soap
Foamy car soap holds dirt on foam inststead of dropping/sinking to the bottom of the bucket.and why wash some ceramic off with just soap when you can leave more ceramic on it and add more ceramic with wash and wax ceramic
I'm pretty sure I said it in the video as well but I have my own desires when it comes to a wash so I just stated what I like but I did mention who this was specifically geared toward.
I use it. Love it except the smell in my hands took a while to go....should use Gloves next time.....also everytime it rain the car look like just washed the next day last up to 3 weeks but i wash my more often...i use dry and wax from TW after n really did a great job....not so expensive here Good results in FL where sun n heat are big....a plus when u use it w the Recomended Dry Wax Hybrid Spray.....for 15 bucks u can not do it better. Tnks
I ordered that wash and the wet and dry spray and the dry one came while others supposed to by Wednesday but now amazon has the one delayed by a week or so and the other one has a week or so possibly to another month!? Does Walmart have it in yet or else bc this coming from amazon which allowed preorder is ridiculous.
Walmarts will probably be closer to the end of the month. Turtle wax is loving it, they paid to have how many of us fly out there and spam the social networks that the demand is super high! They might have spent 200k to put on this event but will make millions in return! Smart business strategy.
I really need a good soap ... what do you recommend ? because I watched your videos and I didn’t see an actual good one they’re all watery with no lubricity
over the counter, I would say Meguiars Gold, Mothers Wash and Wax, Eagle One Nano wash and wax. If you are OK with ordering online, you can't lose with Limitless car care limitless lather, that stuff is stellar!

Howdy Chad, I'm a foam kind of guy, let's start the foam party.
Foam creates suds which traps dirt but what do i know lol

Turtle Wax is definitely becoming an elite brand and these new products prove it!! 😎
One product at a time!

Yah they are so straight forward and cool to talk to! It's awesome:)
I miss the Turtle Wax Ice lineup. Nothing I’ve tried recently even comes close!
They still make the spray wax and the seal and shine which is stellar!
Long time subscriber good to see ya back!! WTH on those instructions, Turtle Wax should definitely revamp that and add a separate“Tips or For Best Results” section.
yah I dunno, I hope they see it.
I tried it yesterday on my 2014 black ram truck and I love this stuff. Haven’t had a chance to wax since fall and wow what a shine for just a wash.
Awesome, get the green ceramic wax....my God is is stellar. Layer it and you won't have to worry about a thing for a year.

they already have something like it, it's called max power. At the higher level it strips wax.

Have you tried the Turtle wax ice seal and shine? I have never seen such an easy to apply product that lasts for month after month.
I have not actually tried that one so will try and get that product ASAP and have a go at it, Thanks alot!!! 👍

over the counter Meguiars gold or Mothers wash and wax. Either or are great washes you can easily buy.

Toss up honestly. I prefer meguiars a bit more but the meguiars gold has no wax in it so it's like a toss up.

Acc0rd79 you’d think Amazon’s oils know their dedicated received supply, unless turtle wax overpromised stock.
