Hi Chelsea! I simply wanted to drop by and tell you that you're doing some good videos. I'm happy to see women in the detailing industry taking their place and rightfully so. And kudos to you the stay-at-home mom that is a hard worker and proving that good things happen to those who put in hard work. Continue your good job!
Thank you so much Pan! You've been a HUGE inspiration and teacher to me along my journey and that means a LOT to hear someone like you say that. Humbled and blessed!
@@attention2detailswchelsea That’s nice of you to say Chelsea! I’m glad I can be an inspiration to others. Continue working hard and you’ll surpass 10K subs in no time. Looking forward to meeting you in person one day. Perhaps 2021 SEMA show if this covid mess comes to and end. Stay safe! 👍🏻
So cool of you to do this Pan! You are right, it’s great to see a women in the industry, she is great and I have learnt from her too. Cheers to you both.
I’ve used this in the past, I was impressed with this. The suds are minimal as it’s just to coat. It lasts quite some time I’ve enjoyed working with this
I’ve been using the sealant, wash soap, and wet wax since this spring. Love the results! I was somewhat disappointed with the soap at first because of the lack of suds until I rinsed it off and saw the hydrophobic action! Makes our fleet of black vehicles look awesome!
I use combo. First time I used it was when I started my business in mid summer. Here in Texas heat is crazy. I love the them, helps me prevent water-spots and also leaves some sort of protection behind. Great video !! Keep it up 👍🏽👍🏽
Chelsea, you are so right, these products have been sleepers. I gotta tell you at first use, last November when the TW instructions said to use 3 oz, it read as though you should only add 3oz to your bucket. So when I used it, I wasn't impressed. A few months ago, TW clarified on the bottles that it was 3 oz per Gallon! Since I applied the new directions, it has become my favorite soap, because nothing is as slick as this soap when used correctly. I love this stuff and it cleans well. As Brian at APEX said, it's not about the suds, it's about moving foam that moves with enough speed to move the contaminants off the car and the slickness makes it so safe to use. As for the WET WAX, it has been my favorite since the first time I used it. It is a fantastic drying aid. My advice to all my folks is to use TW Ceramic Spray Coat and then use the Wet Wax every other week as their drying aid and the protection will never go away. Those that use it, love it. I also recommend TW ICE Snow foam as the weekly prewash to accompany the Ceramic Wash and Wax contact wash. This system is the best I have ever used.
Everything about this soap is counter-intuitive. It barely suds up, it applies flat but...stick with it! When you rinse, the gloss and/hydrophobic-beading is impressive! Do not use in the sun unless you can keep the vehicle constantly wet and cool untill you are ready to dry. It will spot with dry wind and sunlight. Choose to use this soap with a purpose... I used it today and then waxed my wifes dark metal flake blue Mazda with the TW GRAPHENE MAX WAX. The intent was to use the combination to really maximize the color - it worked. Gloss and pop are head turning. Have a jug in your arsenal. You will be happy to have it when you have a proper project. Shine on you crazy diamonds!
I got 2 Matinance customer I wash every 3 weeks I use this on there vehicles. I put there polish and ceramic spray in 4 months ago . It’s holding up very well
Hi brother man! I used it in my own vehicle the wash with the Spray Wax Hybrid Ceramic Solutions and my car was daily under the sun. I applied it on March 2020 and it endured even Saharian dust and even when I washed my car on October it was still beading, even my oldest son was discombobulated how well it was still holding with only a single application which is expected to last 6 months.
Absolutely I believe it's one of the best ways to maintain a coating or wax. The wet wax is fantastic as a drying aid, but the soap I find wishing it had a little more lubrication for the wash mit.
Yes madame Chelsea, this product is a gem although it doesn't make lots of suds but does lay down some protection. I use it on vehicles for maintenance although is a bit pricey but can be used under sunlight.
I don't use the HS Wash and Wax but I do use the HS Wet Wax as a drying aid and am very satisfied. I did clay my truck and used HS Ceramic coating on it. I like the integration that TW has as a very economical line for the DIYer. I'm a bit biased since I like to foam up the cars before my contact wash. I use CG Honeydew Snow Foam and do the 2 bucket wash with Adams Car Shampoo and a squirt of ONR to reduce water spots, works good for me. As always, thanks for the great review.
Good Video, I use the Turtle Ceramic coating, but I'll add these two along with it, also nice to see how the customer isn't coming enough to you, to keep the paint totally protected, that's a solid boots on the ground example, I'll definitely be keeping my regime up monthly now!! Good to Know!!! Thank You!
Chelsea I'm guilty of overlooking these products but I must agree this product done a great job and I'm going to add this to my arsenal. Have you tried this mixed with a dedicated car wash soap such as dirt buster to boost the cleanliness power while still giving the vehicle some ceramic protection?
Chelsea...seems like a good product but u have got to try out ethos ceramic shampoo! Best I’ve ever used! U will love it! Super slick, good cleaning, high-gloss & lots of suds!!!
I purchased the 3n1 when It came out. it was really streaky and I didn't re buy any others in the lineup. I'm interested in trying the new megs ceramic soap. looks similar to this soap...
Maybe the difference between the two is that tw has SI02 in it where as meguires doesn't have it. I think anyone can't go wrong with tw hybrid product line. Tw is top dog in the detailing business and is relatively cheaper.
Great video! Bought this soap last summer and I must say I really did appreciate its performance. Great hydrophobic ability for a soap. What I didn't enjoy so much was the pricing. A bottle in Sweden is around 25 dollars (my god you have some great pricing in America) and i normally use like 3 gallons of water in a bucket meaning each wash costs quite a lot if I use the recommended 3 ounces per gallon. Im thinking about trying an experiment next time i buy a bottle: Put the soap in i spray bottle (for example 1 part soap + 4 parts water) and spray directly onto the wash mitt/paint. Thinking this might be more sufficient in terms of soap use. If it works out, that is :) Keep up the good work!
Just to let you know I just tried the method with the spray bottle and it worked excellent. Left me with enough lubricity and a lot of (what it felt like) protection. Now I'm actually thinking about using this is a cheap kind of "wet coat" in the future, at times when I use a soap without wax.
Yo... just a quick shout out to say THANK YOU for the great video. Great honest, straight to the point review and excellent additional tips!! I just picked up the wash because I saw another review with 5 STAR rating on it, but I didn't know about the Wet Spray Wax that is also in the Turtle Wax line !! Gotta pick that up today, and do the first round trip run on my Jeep Summit .... I can't wait to get to it !! Thanks again, no doubt, you know your stuff !!! Have a safe and healthy 2021 Summer !!!
Have you tried the wash n wax with a foam cannon? Quick n fast application and wipe down? The graphene flex wax works well for a spray on consumer grade
First off I'm a die hard TW FAN BUT... Calling this a "wash" just throws millions of people off because it's not a wash. It's designed to help dry. I was confused on how to use it lol.
Hi Chelsea. Really like your videos on detailing really comprehensive 👍. Currently which ceramic soap do you recommend. Its a pretty hard decision for me 😅. Thanks
I like wearing rubber surgical gloves which protect the body from all chemicals in products. I about about a hundred of them once for around twelve dollars.
What snow foam product do you recommend before a 2 bucket wash with this Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash and Wax Something that is thick and dwells sufficiently to remove loose dirt before hand washing.
Hi Chelsea! Thanks for sharing this video. My first wash with the same Ceramic wash and wax went wrong leaving white spots and dirt underneath. How can I correct it? Would a second wash with same shampoo again with correct technique help correct the situation?
My experience with this is when I washed it with hybrid wash and wax it doesn’t stay for “months” as described on the bottle, it usually stops beading at arounds 3 days on my Porsche.
I applied the Hybrid solution on my 2022 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E which had a ceramic coating on it (applied 5 months earlier by the dealership). I find this product was hydrophobic, with water beading very nicely. But I did find that after rinsing off and drying the truck, the product did not produce a slick coating like a typical wax. So I was disappointed in that aspect.
My maintenance washes consist of 3d super presoak foamed in the foam cannon, and then contact wash, and then foam with that tw HS WnW. Makes panels sheet dry
@@attention2detailswchelsea That's correct Madame Chelsea, you can use it but do not expect heavy suds like Adam's Mega foam or Chemical Guys Honeydew, it will not cling as expected no matter how you use it.
Can you tell me please what color of the wash and wax liquid Because I bought online but m not satisfy the original one ,I have wash and wax same but it's color somewhat orangish ,but I watch some other chanel for this product promo video which is liquid color green
Hi Good video, Good info in there, and a good demo that you managed to get good angles on camera. However, i just cannot recommend this Ceramic product set from Turtle Wax at all, with exception of the Wet Wax. I do understand that you might want to use this, IF you previously put down the ceramic spray and or the polish as a way to maintain that coating, but ... For me, in my opinion, the shampoo is non foaming (which I don't enjoy) while being lubricated, and cleans well enough, the cost per wash of the product(5 or 6 washes per bottle) is just way too high for what it delivers. I'd rather use Gyeon Bathe plus, if I'm using a wash n wax. 15-20 ml per 3 gallons (20 washes per 400ml bottle and a cheaper product in the UK), its a foaming wash and leaves that SIO protection down, same lubricity on the panel, a bit more cleaning power, but its so much more enjoyable to work with. IMHO Keep up the good content :)
@@attention2detailswchelsea I think that this is the car wash soap that enthusiasts give to their neighbours :) Its a wash n wax that exploits a detailing buzz word, for most retail consumers it will do. I suppose it depends on your definition of an enthusiast :) Keep up the good work
I’m a fan of Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions products. However the ceramic wash is my least favorite. Zero suds. It does leave a little protection. Their ceramic polish & wax is the best polish bar none. Their wet wax is an amazing drying aid. Their ceramic spray is adequate, but not as good as The Last Coat V2 or Black Ice also from The Last Coat. My process for my cars and my top customers is...wash soap..Chemical Guys Honeydew, Clay with a clay towel using Wolfgang rinseless wash as a lube, polish with TW ceramic polish and a da polisher, final coat(s) Black Ice or TLC2. I do allow 12 to 16 hours between the polish and the final coat. The protection on a garage kept and maintained car will last a year using this process. Keep up the good work!
