No-no, the results turned out to be wonderful, and some of those props are edible 😋 I especially liked the last image.. it has a dreamy paint-like texture, but so subdued. Once again you supplied us with very useful ideas for macro-photography.. enough to stimulate our own creativity. Thank you
Wonderful images! The contrasts in the textures of the items photographed looks amazing. I’ve been struggling to get the lighting right in my macro shots, but I’m now going to take a leaf from your book and try the desk lamps and paper. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for your feedback, Douglas. I kind of like it too, but seen out of context you could be in doubt what the subject actually is. Dades really aren't that aesthetic to look at 😁
Nice video/flot video :) All of the pics turned out great I think. What settings did you use on camera, I Have thought at the same process with desk lamps, maybe from IKEA, or do you have some recommendations for Lamps..
Thank you very much, Kent. Great to hear. All the photos were taken at f/13, ISO 320 and shutter speeds from 1/3s to 1/5s. I think the lamps used in this video were actually bought in IKEA years ago, but I think the only thing that matters is that they are somehow flexible, so you easily change the angle and height. For the bulbs I use bulbs where I can change the color temperature from an app, but that's not a need-to-have. It just makes it a bit easier to make photos with mixed lighting, if I would like that.
Thank you very much, Alonzo. Very happy to hear that. The camera is a Canon 5DS-R. Quite a dinosaur now, but my absolute favorite for landscapes and macro photography. The lens is a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L IS USM Macro lens.
@@janandersen I just purchased the Canon 90D and Tokina 100mm Macro, an upgrade from my Canon T3 and extension tubes, looking forward to delivery of them. Looking forward to more inspiration.

В следующий раз надо говорить прямо из рыцарского костюма ))
Haha, yeah, that would be a bit freaky 😂 But maybe a great cover up for the accent 🤔
