@@GLEclipseGamingThey have a reference in the story that kinda makes fun of NGB, but yeah let's forget it. The only thing I got out of NGB was an drink coaster.
for reference, you do unlock the ability to upgrade parts from chapter 3 onwards with the level cap increasing every chapter, so you aren't solely relying on RNG to give you the parts you want. The special skills can also be copied over when fusing pieces so you're more "looking for parts that have your desired skills" regardless of appearance, rarity and level. By end game, you'll be most likely taking a base low level part to build from and fusing everything into it to build your perfect part instead of hoping for it to drop from RNG. In addition, the parts that have OP and EX skills can be ranked up to 6 stars maximum whic, when reached, will unlock that special attack permanently so you can use it without the associated part equipped.

Two major letdowns to this game: 1. No Weapon-Exclusive EX Skills. Unlike GB3, you're stuck with spamming Option parts (with cooldown instead of ammo-based) and EX skills built-in to the parts you have with all sharing the same ammo/EX Points. Some Option parts like the High Mega Cannon became EX skill with little damage and high point cost which makes them useless since some 1 Cost EX skills like Age-2 Double Bullet does more damage to a larger area. 2. Inherited Skill/Master Skill will disable the part where that Option Part/EX skill is inherited from upon usage. For example; if you are equipping Build Burning's Torso and arms then used a Master Skill Photon Barrier(Option part) inherited from G-Self's Torso, the Build Burning's Torso will be replaced a holographic G-Self Torso and your EX skills and OP skill from the Build Burning's Torso and arms will be disabled as long as the Barrier is present as if the part is considered disconnected.

I’m gonna be honest: these developers are capable of adding in-depth combat too and they choose not to. All these games are always sold on the “Gundam” name and little else. I would give anything for a “serious” gundam in terms of mechanics. If I find myself flush with cash, I’ll scoop it, but even as a Gundam mega-fan I don’t feel like I want to swing the premium price to spend hours customizing and eventually get bored of combat. I got the translated version of GB3 a couple years ago and fell in love with it as well as Gundam itself. I skipped NGB for obvious reasons and I’ve since retired my PS4 so I’m really happy we got an official sequel on PC. While I wish they kept some of the mechanics unchanged from previous game, I’m having a blast with this one 🔥 I might even dust off my switch and grab another copy so I can play on the go
I wanted this physical, had to import order from Japan, somehow it came with an instant noodle pot. Godbless thi game looks amazing can't wait to get it in September
I actually still haven't finished the story of this because I spent far more time just making custom Gunpla. Really nice way to plan out custom builds for real life kits.
I got the collector's edition for the PS5 (just picked it up from the post office and haven't had a chance to play it yet). I only ever played this series on Playstation. I will probably consider picking this up for the Switch if it goes on sale either physically or digitially. While I did enjoy "New Gundam Breaker" for a short time, despite all it's flaws, I really hope this game follows and builds more upon Gundam Breaker 3. This game will probably be successful in pulling me away from Pokemon and becoming my new obsession. One big caveat I've had with this series, especially the 3rd entry, is how the Trikeros Offensive Shield System found in the Blitz Gundam was programmed. It was never programmed to be a viable option for a stand alone beam rifle or a beam saber. It was only ever programmed to be used as a weaker side option weapon and it drove me nuts to no end because I always had to give my Blitz Gundam another rifle and beam saber just to have a competent set of weapons to use. Sometimes I just want to play with a default Gundam model especially the Blitz Gundam and not have to add anything else other than some optional custom weapons payloads. I really want to be able to use the Trikeros Offensive Shield System as a combo stand alone weapon.

My favorite Gundam series are G Gundam and Gundam Wing. I haven't followed the series after Wing so I'm not sure if this is the right fit for me. I would love a game that follows the G Gundam storyline (my personal favorite) where you can explore the regions before battle as Domon exploring the ruble from last years tournament looking for magerials for Rain to upgrade Shining Gundam and you're interacting with Chibodee, Argo, George, Sai etc. Then you have these Neo Geo style King of the Monsters battles that completely destroy the cities even more. But I doubt that's ever going to happen since it's one of the most unpopular seasons in the series. If you can't tell, I really like G Gundam. I also think Zelda II is the best game in the series, so my judgment is probably not the best example...

For me it's about 8.5 out of 10. You cant search for abilities when synthesizing. Only category sort or filter. They dont fully explain what lots of the abilities do. The 50 wave gauntlet quest is good on paper. But when I got to wave 25 I was bored. And when you are against big bosses, it can be a pain to target a specific part once some have been destroyed. Other than those things, amazing game. Even the capsule system is like Monster Hunter talismans. Which is a good thing, but again I wish you could combine or reroll them
Game definitely looks interesting and when you mentioned monster hunter i was sold…might also check out the other game you mentioned too if it is indeed similar to this as well
Yeah it looks awesome! I really enjoyed 3, but I think for this one I'll wait for an edition with the DLC included, or at least for a deep discount, I am kinda sick of full priced games having Season Passes and the like.
This game needs a upload download community made custom gunpla blueprint feature. Like the feature in lego2k drive where you can download other peoples creations to use
This is leeps above New Gundam Breaker and and honestly the way the story works with being in the virtual world works exceptly well. Only wish they had kept the abilties status of GB3, other than that easily 9/10.
I was going to be a day one purchase on collectors for me until I found out digital only. Swerve until a deep sale for me which sucks as I love Gundam.

Thanks for the video. I think this game looks great probably add it to thr library. As for DLC I'm spilt on it. If the game has alot of gameplay already then they add more missions... thats cool with me. If the game is short and then have Dlc then I feel like is BS. I just wish the DLC could be included on cart for higher price. Loading it to cart would be the best... don't ever see that happening. Physical forever!

It’s a good game, but it could use more gunpla, and I don’t just mean DLC exclusive, sure we’re eventually getting the Mighty Strike Freedom and Calibarn, but I still want more, and why are most of the (I’m assuming) 4th generation GN Gundam’s not in the games when 00 is?
I'm debating about getting this for switch cause while have a ps5 my brother is on it a lot and i only have till sunday and part of monday when i can use it. But if it runs on switch without problem i most likely get it for it.
Realize just now the game was out while looking at my switch newsfeed. Was hype still is. But there s some many games coming. Zelda. Mvc collect., tales of , ys, mario&luigi, etc So much games. So lil time. So lil money. I didn t even touch the mushashi
The gameplay looks very much like the mobile version of the same name (has been removed from playstore). So far, I hear that to get parts you need to "break" them from other gundams or complete missions. But what about the more well-known OP gundams with more powerful moves/AOE attacks? When it was on mobile the gundams or gundam series would rotate in the gacha for ppl to try and get what they want.
Gundam Breaker Mobile/Gunpla Warfare was spun off from these games What abilities you use depends on the parts equipped. If you want to use Burning Finger, you need to have Burning Gundam's arms equipped, or if you want that Alaya-Vijyana limiter transformation, you'll need to have Barbatos Lupus or Lupus Rex's torso. The bigger stuff like Raiser Sword and Hi-MAT Full Burst are reserved for finishing moves available only in Awaken

Not a mech game fan, but thanks for the vid
You're welcome mate. Mark
Gundam Breaker 2 is peak with a real storyline
As soon as I saw burning gundam I was sold.
Which burning considering there's 2 of them in the game, Burning/God Gundam and the Build Burning Gundam
@@devilbringer1102spoilers 😂
Shining finger is beautiful.
Which is a good thing, but again I wish you could combine or reroll them
I've never played a Gundam game, but this reminds me a lot of Battle Clash on the SNES (best console ever IMO). I'm gonna have to look at this one.
Cant wait! But i gotta wait before i can buy my copy.
Look like fun, love gundam and am excited to buy it when it inevitably goes on sale.
Game definitely looks interesting and when you mentioned monster hunter i was sold…might also check out the other game you mentioned too if it is indeed similar to this as well
Gundam Breaker 4 Is VERY SLEEP ADDICTIVE😮💨
I’m thinking of getting this game! Looks fun
Swerve until a deep sale for me which sucks as I love Gundam.
theres a physical cartridge though in mines?
@@StopToBreathe American and Japanese yeah, but I am not importing it as if I wanted the dlc like season pass I would need to make an American account get American credit etc.
fact we didn’t get a physical in the uk is a joke frankly and Bandai fucked up as usual.
@@wannabkain4400 doesn’t bother me, its easy to create a different region account, been doing it for years. Up to the individual though.
I find my self in the customization more than the actual combat lol
Maybe I missed when he said it but how long is the offline play time? Or is this an online game only?
Gundam Breaker 3 on ps vita looks amazing
They should add battle royale with about 100 people online see how long that fight can be
This looks like a newer Virtual-On from the arcades and SEGA Dreamcast. Am I right or is it different? For those who’ve played it, please let me know. If I’m right, I just might have to buy this one.
Got it for steam deck (PC). Very good
never played anything like this before, I would love to. But not a chance am I paying that price for it
Thanks for the video.
I've been wanting to get into Gundam at 36 like some loser lol! Maybe I'll try this out
I will definetly get this soon
I played the past games and it's really addictive at the beginning but gets repetitive after a while. I miss 1v1 Gundam games from the PS1 and Super Famicom 😊😊😊
I just wished they add the gundam vs series. I wouldnt mind an old port of even gvgn+
Never played a gundam game but this reminds me of gotcha force so I might pick this up
I hope they remake gundam battle assault ❤️
Never that early before.
Booyah! Mark
Old man mark is greatly appreciated, and needed for these greedy devs
I dont plan on playing online. Is it still worth it?
It's a shame that there is no physical release in Europe.
Zelda. Mvc collect., tales of , ys, mario&luigi, etc
So much games. So lil time. So lil money.
I didn t even touch the mushashi
It feels like playing dragonball z xenoverse , however still a fun game and the customization is awesome, definitely a game worth playing.
Having my own gundam !!!
Gundam Breaker Mobile/Gunpla Warfare was spun off from these games
What abilities you use depends on the parts equipped.
Mecha Break will be epic!!
My only complaint is the clunky controls. Needs a few updates.
Have you checked the control options?? There’s a ton of tweaking you can do. Mark
@@SwitchUpYt yeah, I didn’t really find much, but it’s not that bad I guess. Maybe I’m just used to more articulate controls from other games. It’s growing on me more as I play, but I can’t help but get the feeling that there is a little input lag.
@@drag0nchampi0nbiggest improvement for me was heavily increasing the X y sensitivities
I know the Switch is showing it's age but they really didn't make any effort in the graphics department.
Ive never played the bteaket games but im definitely s fan of Gundam. Ill pick these up eventually egen if i don't plsy online
