What are you thoughts on the glass with no caulk on the bottom, or rubber seal. They just get nasty over time. By having a small gap at the bottom on a proper slope to keep the water in?
Just the leading edge of the tile is holding the seat? What did you bond it with thin set? Brand? I’m doing one of these in a week and I am a bit concerned about the strength of doing it this way. I see other guys doing it where they cut into the Dura rock to the stud for more bite. But that causes an area for water to enter.
yeah just thinset , and when you set them in tile like that, and grout. thats it, not going anywhere ever. I also sink a blade multiple times in the back edge of the seat so that thinset goes inside and its even stronger. just my preference
So how much weight does the seat hold. I'm skeptical of that seat with nothing other than the tile holding it. Please explain. So that I can understand the dynamics of it. Thank you
@@Truevideo1986 cutting it into cement board is very sketching. Bc that’s actually cutting into the waterproofing! But this week I’m making a video to see if that seat can hold 1000 lbs!!!! Turn on your notifications:)
Part 1 brought me here. Liked.
Also - did you put the vertical laser line on the wall adjacent to the shower head strategically right? Halfway between both walls?
Starting my own bathroom renovation tomorrow using mostly your videos 💪🏼👏🏼
Lets go! you got this! DM me if you ever have a question!
Would have liked to see you cut the notch in the tile and then secure the seat to the shower.
Amazing job as always

So your saying with both tiles and grout it can hold a person ?
After that Work looks Good
I wish you would have showed polish wheel and how to use it.
Is there a reason why you don't do vertical, so in 2 pieces you just reach the ceiling?
Do you have someone fab your seat and curb, or do you do that ?
@winni.designs where did you purchase the bench?
Bruh that intro 😅
You're out there brother.

You glued the seat with tile glue? Im surprised it holds so strong with just glue
It’s held up with tile
@@WINNI.Designs you didn't cut in to the cement board? That's insane the tile would hold that seat

@@WINNI.Designs where did you get the seat from?
Are the homes or apartments designed and built to hold the weight of the installed tile/stone?
Where did u get the floating seat?
I want to be able to work and do the job you do how can I do that? What is the Job Title? Renovator?
Why do you not use suction cups on these large tiles?
where you bought shower seat please
Next time you have a hard cut like that try putting some blue tape on it, then CA glue a strip of wood for support.
That’s a good idea!!!!
What type of thinset you’re using?
Where can I get these deadly looking tiles? Thanks for the vid
It’s an Anatolia tile. So any story carrying that brand
@@WINNI.Designs thanks for the quick response
Time lapse are great but slow it down so we can see how to do tiling!

How much weight can that bench seat take?
I’ll have my wife and I stand on it. I’ve never broke one so I don’t know the limit lol
Ceiling tile around the bulkhead is not level either

This is go board. 100% waterproof
Where did you get the stone seat?
