  • I'm working on the "Cruise Control" awards that require you to win a race that counts towards your MPR while having the highest iRating in the field. That's pretty hard though, because the odds of being the #1 car are slim enough, and my odds of winning one of those few races are often even slimmer. Pulled it off in Dirt Road, but Oval and Dirt Oval is going to be tough.
Hello there, and welcome to my humble stream. This description is a default copypasta, and you don't need to read it. I mostly do some iRacing & Coffee in the mornings, and some special events on certain weekends. I use a chat overlay, so you can send me a message and I'll answer on the go. Lately, I am working on some iRacing Awards just to give my races a little more purpose. Some of them are very easy to grind, and some of them are quite a lot harder. This stream is sort of documenting my progress.
I’m pretty ordinary in terms of my ability, but I have been racing for more than 20 years now. I may not be the fastest bloke on track, but I take some pride in racing hard and close without ruining other peoples races. I hope my streams can help viewers build an understanding of how to navigate traffic, and race safely.
Usually, I skip qualifying for normal races, just to spice things up a little, but I make the best of every race, and always aim to keep it clean. Starting every race from the back is by all means a suboptimal race strategy, and I don’t recommend it for people who want to increase their ratings, or win more races.
My rig is a Logitech G29 on a cheap foldable metal frame I found on Amazon. I operate it from an IKEA kitchen chair that I put on a yoga mat to keep it fixed during hard braking. Hopefully that goes to show that you don’t need the fanciest gear to be at least somewhat competitive.
Remember that subbing is completely voluntary, but it’s also free. You can even unsub later if you feel like it, no hard feelings.
