Row, run and Row some more. Pushing 47 and feel better than I did when I was playing 20 years ago. The hardest thing is finding the time, but if you want it enough you will find it. 5 days a week 30-45 minute Row on a water rower & 3-4 mile run. Saturdays off for paintball and Sundays off to rest. No end in sight 👍🏼
Super useful workout for older paintball players! This got me inspired to get off the couch and do some much needed movements. Your transparency about your own fitness habits is much appreciated and relatable. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Tyler! I'm an open book so always happy to discuss my own struggles to better connect with others so we can all work together to get better, do what we can't, and play better paintball 😉
Very good video! As an older player my self, (56) being in better condition makes playing better than younger people who do not devote time to. Also allows you to maximize your dollar value by playing longer at a field. Keep up the good work!
As a front snake player who is about to enter his mid 30’s, who played pro and currently in semi pro, it is really cool knowing that I’m doing the right things to stay in snake shape. I’m saying that because I’m doing more half of the stuff you are talking about, BUT, I just want to say thank you because I have a few more things I can do now after watching this video, so thanks!!!!!! ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️
Love the feedback and glad to hear you got something from this video and that you're still crushing the snake in your mid 30's! Age is only a number 💪🏻😎
I took almost all of 2023 off for just fitness, and it is wild how much better I handled a whole day of paintball after taking that year off. I used too be sore for days after playing, but despite my program focusing on hypertrophy, I could run faster and longer and I wasn't even sore at the end of the day. I play woodsball with my old shoebox Shocker or my stainless steel automag with heavy stainless steel barrel, so I needed the muscle. I don't know if it is normal for a woman in her late 30s but, I couldn't even lift 50lbs over my head before I started, now I can overhead press 75lbs for 15 reps and I keep getting stronger
My old PA I worked with use to say "Motion is Lotion". Also funny thing about "suicides" . We're not allowed to call them that in the Army anymore, we have to call them shuttle sprints or line sprints.

It’s surprising how little information is available specifically regarding paintball fitness. Good video 😎
I agree! And I'm glad I can help - thanks for the support! 💪🏻😎

Your old PA would be correct!
And I had a feeling that was a dated term, glad I have a better name to call them from now on 😁
@@playbetterpaintball we all still call them suicides and then get scolded by captains.
@@kevinmreams it is a pretty fitting name 🤷♂️
@@playbetterpaintball They just get worse the deeper you get into them lol.
i'm 45. i've been playing paintball since i was 18. im not in the greatest shape. but i'd recommend doing p90x3 ( workouts in x3 are only 30 mins)
