The hardest thing is finding the time, but if you want it enough you will find it. 5 days a week 30-45 minute Row on a water rower & 3-4 mile run. Saturdays off for paintball and Sundays off to rest. So if you have it on the outside and you go to the corner .you would be set up faster for the wire shot correct ? Also the stance at the box with the lead leg and sprinting mech would dictate opposite for the drive phase ? Lastly we always hear the game is all about milimeters / inches wouldn't you want that 1% or any % on your side to being alive off the break ? Side note preventing injury would be taking the time to get the body trained to with stain such movements by exercising them properly ?

Good video. Few players drill nor execute this properly. Think of it as nearly the same technique as running a 40-year dash. In fact, paintball players should study just that, "40-Yard Dash Start Technique" (search that in RUclips videos) and the only real differences are you have a marker in your back hand and your eyes are up to see the field as you run out. Wrong technique causes you to switch stride at the start of your run to get your arms and legs in natural rhythm, costing time and giving your opponents slightly more time to put a ball on you. Good video, keep them coming! --Charlie Givens, head coach of the MLKings.

Very good video! As an older player my self, (56) being in better condition makes playing better than younger people who do not devote time to. Also allows you to maximize your dollar value by playing longer at a field. Keep up the good work!

I think that as you learn more about the game, you may come to find that athleticism is only a minor portion of the professional game, and is actually the least interesting part of it. Of course spectacle is a part of spectator sport, but that's anathema to true sport. True sport is played for the fulfillment of the sportsman (or sportswoman), not the audience. I think a worthy question is "do we need more spectators?" If we do need more spectators, why do we need more spectators?

I took almost all of 2023 off for just fitness, and it is wild how much better I handled a whole day of paintball after taking that year off. I used too be sore for days after playing, but despite my program focusing on hypertrophy, I could run faster and longer and I wasn't even sore at the end of the day. I play woodsball with my old shoebox Shocker or my stainless steel automag with heavy stainless steel barrel, so I needed the muscle. I don't know if it is normal for a woman in her late 30s but, I couldn't even lift 50lbs over my head before I started, now I can overhead press 75lbs for 15 reps and I keep getting stronger

I think realistically; keeping the currently involved parties happy means keeping it the way it is.. which really is pretty great. Too much change at once makes it seem like less of a serious sport. Let's keep adding cameras and brighter paint. That being said, i think 3man xball with limited paint would be fast and exciting. Ps do you live in the pnw?

From my expirience you need to master both stances, same as you train your right and left hands. Pluses for knee down on shooting side you alredy told but pluses of knee up is next: 1. If you know how to play both you dont need to switch them at all. 2 you can go up and down and not loosing balance ( try to stand up and keep the line staight from both stances and check with is more stable) 3 You will make faster move to the side witch you are shooting and if your knee up (cuz that leg will be your main and push you) Sorry for my English

I had replaced all the o rings in my prime and this was happening on mine. I tried to pull the can apart and it was stuck shut. I had a heck of a time getting it back apart but I found out that I had to put in a lot of grease cause the o ring was to dry? After I put in a significant amount of grease the pinging sound went away. It was also a non factory o ring kit that I installed so the o rings were a little thicker.

I use a 90L one so I can fit some extras like my lunchbox + water bottles but I can definitely see the benefit of being able to tuck the smaller bag away. As a snake player of 3 years, I've gone through exalt, hydra, and dye knee pads. The exalt pads will NOT offer the same protection as dye pads because they're made of a thinner and softer foam layer. using the exalts for a year compressed the foam and they got worn out/compressed much faster than a dye pad would. From my experience, the dye pads have been the best for me and I will not be going back to exalt pads for this reason.

@@playbetterpaintball I managed to get a C5S drive and test it on the Prime XTS. You were shooting a little hot here. The C5S drive did quiet it a bit and it is more efficent getting about an extra pod and a half off a 450 Low Pressure regulated 68/4500 as compared to the infinity drive. It does have a mild ping to the non stationary valve and the Infinity Drive is even simpler and more reliable (than anything else on the market) The C5 Drive is more reliable and air efficient than Planet Eclipse's IV core or even a GP Core, but the Infinity Drive is the absolute simplest spool valve on the market. Result? Both are excellent and I will alternate depending on the day. The Infinity Drive is the ONLY spool valve design I have found available to buy which matches the sheer responsiveness of my G6R.. This is no small feat. Infinity core for typical airball rounds, C5 core for longer games where I want to get close to about 14 pods per 68/4500 Just wish that Macdev would capitalize on the fact that the Prime XTS (and Clone 5) were /are so versatile.

I have used the exalt pads and I do not like them. I had one pair for several seasons. I was sewing them back together myself as seems ripped and the foam wore right out. The only bonus is there is a large pocket at the front of the pad that I can slip in some dollarama foam kneepads to beef them up. I highly recommend doing that if you find the pads too thin.
