This is such a mindblast! I started watching this channel from the very start of the pandemic and have not missed a day. It's a time-travel adventure to return to first one, where it all began. Now... in the year 2023, with well over a thousand posts, it is so cool to return to the beginning. A timeline treasure - Lee, you saved my sanity during the pandemic's dark days between 2020 and 2021. You're a light of civility.

The restraint is admirable. It’s not always easy to get out of the way and provide the anchor at the same time. Bravo, Lee.

I fully agree with you - they must simply be ingrate trolls, and do not deserve to be in Lee's presence. Lee is a god of kindness, wit, story-telling, musical virtuosity and grace.

I’m not a musician. Both my sons are but music has always been important in my life. Phil’s music included but Lee I have to tell you I really enjoyed this. I’ve never really heard the bass in such detail before by such an accomplished bassist before on a song I personally love. Now I understand why artists around the globe want you up there with them. Thank you for this. I’m subscribing in hope to seeing more of your awesome playing. Cheers from Newfoundland, Canada. Oh, keep well.

Thank you Leland. I will watch one a day 'till current. The guys asked me for a wedding gig, "Can you play like Leland Sklar?"
I said, "Guys! Nobody can play like him." And I worked for weeks. My appraisal was correct. Thanks again for sharing a style I have long aspired to. Rick Beato sent me here. And I'm never leaving!

Thank you so much for doing this! I literally cried tears of joy since you and Phil are the very reason I make music for almost fifteen years. Drums at first, then bass guitar due to living in a small flat. It’s this unpretentious, direct style, making music that people touch. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Stay safe and healthy! Cheers!

Amazing! I've been watching as many of your videos as I can and I am so inspired. I don't consider myself a Bass Guitarist but I do like to play it on my own music and recordings and I feel like I'm getting such a lesson just by watching you. You have a gift and watching your videos and listening to you talk about all the different songs and instrumentals you have been involved with, I had no idea how many I've heard that you were the Bass Guitarist on. Thank you and I hope to see so much more of these videos from you.
