- OK so right away, sorry my nose wasn't completely clear. But I have a stuffy nose and I've been kind of struggling so hopefully you can get past that and look at everything I bought for our family before the blizzard happens.
Thad no plans on heading to town to get groceries, but my husband woke up and said hey you might want to go to the grocery store. We are expecting a lot of snow the next two days and we have been in a blizzard warning for over 24 hours. And good thing I did because we are getting so much snow.
When I got to the grocery store right away, I seen my son Joshua working very hard getting carts in and then working inside the store. I was grocery shopping. I got to see him firsthand getting all of his jobs done and watching how he interacts with the customers and how hard he works at his job. I am very, very proud of Joshua and how he tries to keep a good attitude even though I know he wants to be home with dad, but he also loves working at the grocery store. He is a farm boy, but he also needs a little bit of independence from our family. That's why it's so important for him to keep his job because he needs something just for him and money that he earns all by himself that he can do whatever he wants with it.
The grocery store had a ton of sales, which was super exciting because a lot of what they had on sale I needed so I was able to top off my pantry and fill both refrigerators with fresh veggies and fruits. I got came home. The kids help me put all the groceries away and we just waited for the snow to fly. That night we already lost power and so we spent a couple hours just kind of hanging out relaxing and then this morning we also woke up to no power.

Your shopping hauls are so much more relatable to people than most influencers. You were like every other mom trying to keep the kids on track and not overdo it when you're shopping lol. Thank you for being truly genuine in the content you share. It's nice to see a family influencer that you can actually relate to and understand.
But are they? Most influencers are showing ways to feed a large family on a budget because prices are through the roof. Buying so much processed sugar and a million other things ridden food is not feasible for most families. With almost $500.00 most influencers would have their menu planned out and homemake most snacks and desserts that would last longer than a week. Completely different audiences.

TIP: I take a picture of my grocery list on my phone. I always have my phone, so if I forget the list I have a back up. I love your channel.

I make my lists in my phone so I always have my list if I have my phone. I use my reminder app on my phone and have a list for all the stores we shop at.
Personally, I'd rather have 2 feet of snow rather than tornados and damaging winds like my daughter had yesterday in Southern Indiana.

I had to chuckle. This is not like down South when they call for a blizzard. EVERYONE is at the grocery store and there is hardly any food, beer or water left because people act like they are going to be in their homes for weeks. LOL.

I love the videos! I'm from south carolina so the pollen is creating a ton of allergy problems. I wish it would rain more to wash out the pollen! My high school was rebuilt. They had an open house. I noticed the "learning center" (what was the library), had like one cart of books. There were lobbies all over the school. (I'm guessing so kids can be on their devices). You know what else you can do, club soda with a little juice of your choice.
I wish I could've afforded to shop like you when my kids were home. I had to do everything from scratch.
Sometimes the electricity go's out n a storm. Ya gotta have candles batteries wood and pre-made food. And a good book.

I only have one kiddo earthside who is just under 2 years old, but I want to be like you as I have more kids and as they get older. Mount olive pickle products are the best! The pickle plant is in the county I live in. Mount Olive is an actual city! There is also a college in Mount olive.
Flatbreads were very popular last year- flour and Greek yogurt,slight variation on that for pizza- I think.you will find it on here.

It's always intresting seeing how others live. We're a UK family of 3, so no grocery shopping as big as yours, we also don't generally have the extreme weather's to contend with. But I do hate horizontal rain and will try my utmost to get my shopping in before that hits!

I live in Florida, so i understand about the sinus issues. I have them every day! One day i want to go on Vaca where it snows and have a place to stay where i can sit and watch the snow or get out in it.

I hope you and Josh feel better soon. In PA, we are getting insane thunder, rain, and wind. My friend had a lot of tornadoes near her down south. Spring weather. 😂 I think that along with the tea and juice, you need a nedi pot and probiotics. I know that with the digestive emergency I'm having, I was told water, water, water. So don't forget your water and feel better!

Water Chesnuts get the big ones wrap in bacon throw in the oven till bacon is cooked delicious.

We’ve got flash flood warnings here in central Indiana! My oldest son quits having sinus issues once he crosses the Mason-Dixon line! So, I think he’ll stay in Florida forever!
I was feeling good and I came back and it’s all sinuses
My sinuses were clear when I lived near the ocean after having my deviated septum fixed. Eventually, I learned nonorganic wheat products and nonorganic dairy were giving me the daily stuffy nose. I live in the high plains and rarely get the stuffy nose since I eat organic foods, except the rare times I don't. Food preservatives have a lot to do with it, too.

The games are great, but if it’s not too bad so is a long walk. I remember a time (in my early teens) my aunt & uncle were visiting . My aunt wanted to stay in, but my uncle, who has always loved the outdoors wanted someone to take a walk him, so I agreed. I still remember it. It was so quiet & beautiful , no one was out, no tire tracks. It was really wonderful to experience. When i think of my uncle, I always think of that day. We talked about anything & everything. It’s a memory Ii’ll always treasure

Flat bread is easy to make you can do it -
Ingredients
1 cup Very Warm Water
2-2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Instant Yeast
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
In the bowl of a stand mixer with the dough hook attached, mix together the water, 2 cups of flour, yeast, olive oil and salt.
If the dough isn’t coming together and clearing the sides of the bowl, sprinkle in more flour, a couple tablespoons at a time until it clears the sides and bottom of the bowl.
Knead the dough for 5 minutes in the machine, or 8-10 minutes by hand.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap.
Let the dough rise until doubled, about one hour.
Divide the dough into 6-8 pieces and let it rest, covered with plastic wrap, for 10 minutes.
Roll out the pieces of dough into 6-8 inch circles, as evenly as possible.
Dry fry them on a hot skillet or electric griddle for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are puffed a bit with some browned spots. If they are taking longer to cook, increase your heat so that they don’t dry out.
Stack the cooked flatbread on a wire rack under a clean tea towel to keep them soft.
Store in a plastic bag after they have cooled.

For a tip if you have an Asian store they have the best rice selection brown rice is also good you can do research which one is the best .. I'm Asian currently residing in a foreign country so I usually go to an Asian grocery they will help you find the best rice there is I hope you try..
Here's my suggestion, take a picture of your Grocery list, and save it in your grocery list file. So, if you forget your list, just check your saved grocery list. Good idea 💡

They are in pair juice. Because from what I understand period pair juice holds up better than juice from the peaches. Unless it's thickened with internal navy syrup, it doesn't make it taste any different, though. It's that's what you're worried about.
