FAMiLY OF 10 ~ FiRST GROCERY HAUL OF 2024 (it looks a little different) 😉

Happy new year!
So I am on a mission to tweak my grocery haul and the way I cook for this year.
We have a graduation party and a wedding this summer so all of us are trying to get in shape and I’m pretty much just feel better. My kids are so great at working out staying in shape and so me and my husband now are challenging ourselves to also get into shape. So I made sure for this grocery haul to buy a lot more fruits and vegetables, we do normally buy them, but I’m trying to focus more on fresh and Whole Foods.
I’m still going to make a lot of our family favorites because my kids work hard and they deserve to have a nice southern hearty feel good meal. But I’m also going to bring in a lot more meals to where we have a lot of protein, more fresh veggies and fruits and making sure to bring those into our daily meals in our weekly schedule.
Honestly, I thought it was gonna be hard but it really wasn’t. I just made sure to avoid a lot of the isles that could get us into trouble. And I don’t get me wrong. We still like treats I’m still gonna bake, but we are trying to bring in more veggies and fruits into our lives.
So here is our very first 2024 grocery shopping trip. And I seem to always hit the huge sales. They had a big sales on everything that I needed. Hooray.!!
