- The pink super long life coolant has been shown to cause breakdown of the valley plate gasket material causing the coolant leak.
Switch to RED coolant. Авто/Мото
I just found your Channel and been watching recently. I'm so sorry for your loss of Frenchie! 🙏♥️🐾 Sincerely!
Hi. Thank you
My apologies for your loss, been through that before with a Cat of all things, keep the memories and they will always be there. My Car next? Lol!
I’m sorry for your loss
Good morning.Lexus F is the best.👍😊🔔 I will register it.
Sorry for your loss bro i felt bad for it 💔
Thanks
Some people don't understand that the loss of our furry family members can hurt as much as the loss of our human family as well. I also saw a more recent vid of you selling the GSF. Too bad to see it go as well but I respect your decision.
Thanks for all the content 💪.
Appreciate the kind words man
@@BulletsGarage You're more than welcome.
Condolences on your loss🙏🙏🙏
Thank you.
Thanks again BG! The LS 460 historically is prone to the valley leak also. There is info on the cause being the manufacturers choice of original sealant of the gasket also being responsible for the valley plate leak. Also , that changing the coolant every 50,000 miles can help avoid the deterioration of the seals and gaskets. Have you heard that anywhere?
That's cool if that fix works going to a different coolant it definitely doesn't hurt to try! I had to do my Valley plate leak at 70,000 miles on my ISF
Exactly if it does fix the issue it’s a simple easy mod the coolant cost me $70 for 3 gallons the water cost $20 so you’re under 100 bucks for an issue that could potentially resolve and if not at least you have fresh coolant
Exactly a cheap fix if it works😎
Yes sir
Sorry for your lost . He was part of your family I do miss seeing him in the way lol
Yea poor guy
Sorry for your loss with frenchy😥
Thanks bro
Sorry for your lost bro 😪
Thank you
My isF has bubbles in the coolant tank but there’s no overheat u think it’s the valley plate?
Sorry for your loss brother. He's in a better place now. Also does this valley plate issue exist for 2013 GS350s as well?
Not for gs 350
My condolences for your loss. This year has been tough. Any chance you have the link to the forum? I was looking under RCF pages. I just realized it would be under GSF. I was always curious if this was going to repeat itself after ISF. Thanks in advance & Thank you for the F content.

Losing a family member furry or human always hurts sorry you had to let him go but glad he’s not in pain . We lost our mini poodle who we adopted at 3 months old and after only 8 years she was gone, one of the best dogs we ever had . She had congestive heart failure I dove her to the vet carried her inside and she passed away as I handed her over to the ER doctor . It’s never something we expect but all I can say is we here if you ever need to talk about stuff man even if we are just your RUclips F fam .
That's so sad I'm sorry man. 8 years is so short. We were lucky we got 14 years with him
Interesting that so many Lexus’ have this issue. It’s a problem in the LX570 and Landcruiser. Lots of discussion in the forums
Not sure
Howd this work out for you??
Sorry for your loss with your dog bro..🥺🥺
Thank you I appreciate it it’s very hard losing a dog
@@BulletsGarage
I totally understand
what film or product did you use to make your front turn signals yellow
Yellow film from bluebatoverlays
For the toyota red can i use 1gallon and the rest distilled water? Or is 2 toyota red gallons recommended? TIA.
I would get 2
Did it work?
R.I.P.
You know what I’m getting a RC350 I don’t want to fuc with these big engine yet 🤣. Plus I’m 18 and reckless. Sorry for your loss.
do you have a solid info that the pink coolant cause the valley plate leak?
That’s what several people on the forum have said
Is it a certain thing it will all leak?
With time yea
What forum? Link please. I’d like to read up on this. I’m curious why the pink coolant causes this.
It's on community F page on fb
Sorry for your loss!
I have been running the super long life on my 2009 IS-F with 194,000 miles on it without any issues with the valley plate gasket (yet). Thoughts?
Ur car is a unicorn 🦄!! That’s good. Do u drive it hard ?
i just had to do mine and have 91k it sucked and was super expensive. I really don't want to have to do it again! @bullets Garage do you notice and difference with the red coolant as far as typical engine temps go i know with pink the isf is usually always one notch under half
Bullets Garage It truly is surprising. I would say it’s driven harder than a lot of IS-F’s out there. The car just clicked 200,000 this week, still 0 issues.
Nice
@@BulletsGarage do you have tp change the red coolant more often ?
So you flush it then what do you put in it after that? Refill with the red coolant? Or just keep distill water?
I add red coolant because where I live it gets cold so I need to run coolant. If u live in hot climate u can run water if Temps dont drop below 40
I add red coolant because where I live it gets cold so I need to run coolant. If u live in hot climate u can run water if Temps dont drop below 40
So if it’s a new 2020 model what do they have in coolant for warm weather cities?
@@BulletsGarage sorry for your loss :( I had lost one to car accident is painful 😥
They all come with coolant because if safety reasons. If a car gets shipped to cold weather with water that would end up in engine failure
How long does the red coolant last typically?
Long long time.
Red lasts 5 years.
What’s your wheels setup? Spacers and tire specs??
Look back in the vidoes I made a video on thst
Sorry for your loss, can u tell me Lexus isf 2011 coolant capacity ? Thx u so much..
Not sure.
Do you know at how many miles these owners were reporting this problem at. I'm coming up on 87k and have not experienced this issue with a 2016 GSF .
As early 80k
@@BulletsGarage I will have to do this soon thanks for the tutorial, sorry to hear about your little guy he was a good supervisor and I'm sure a better friend.
Yea it's worth the $90 u will spend to have piece of mind
@@BulletsGarage I paid $66.01 with shipping for three gallons of the Toyota red antifreeze coolant from oempartsource.com if anyone wants to save some money. It would have been $90.00 from my local Toyota dealer here in Colorado.
Hey would this apply to a 2016 is 300? Sorry for your loss..
No this is for the v8 engines
@@BulletsGarage thankyou!!
@@BulletsGarage do you know of any reccomend "fixes" for my car that i can take care of now before it if anything goes bad?
Hmm, very interesting video, I've got 2 "Toyotas" one MR2 Turbo which I use red coolant then I've recently got a GS460 1ur-fse which they say you should use pink.
Why does pink coolant cause this issue and red doesn't?
The acids used in the two are different
@@BulletsGarage I see... I'm just wondering if it affects my engine too since the GSf ISF are based on my engine
Not sure
@@BulletsGarage Seen it does 😑
The vet told me my Yorkie developed a kidney problem as well at age 13. I couldn’t bear the news. Ultimately I know why it happened too. (We went on vacation left her with pretty bad friends and she never ate for 3 weeks other then some shitty Chinese treats, after that things went all downhill, I never wanted to leave but it was my sister’s wedding so I couldn’t slip out of it even though I tried so hard) But I gave her IV fluids everyday to keep her going until a year later she passed away naturally. So I had her for another year after I found out I couldn’t put her down. She did okay during the time obviously it was getting worse but she still was able to live. It took a lot of time but it’s possible if you want to do it.
Unfortunately frenchy has a heart condition also and crystals in his bladder so it would only get worse
@@BulletsGarage I’m sad for you I really liked your dogs I always watched them in all your videos. They’re always there for the build.
Thank you. Now it's only Charlie. And my 2 dogs that are at my parents house
Oh no frenchy...rip 🙏 Charlie still good?
Yes Charlie is still good
So show how much coolant did you have to put back in after the the flush? Because you would have had water in the engine too that would need to pull the coolant up in there
About two gallons of mixed 50/50
Great video as always.
Quick Q for clarification- With a 50/50 mix, did you end up using 1 gallon of red coolant, total?
2 cuz I flushed it alot of times
Lexus should’ve did a recall for this. Is the valley plate leak inevitable for ALL rcf’s in your opinion?
My rcf has it
@@slvr.2ur dang. How many miles on yours
@@DoctorGaga87 113k
How many miles is on that car? I'm curious what made you plan the switch at this point.
Mine has 26 k jow
@@BulletsGarage thank bud. Super low miles! So this is meant for preventing the gasket repair?
Yes
What if it's already leaking will this fix it ?
Lol no
Dam that sucks half way done thoe took the intake manifold off didn't want to pay 1.5k and sorry for your loss bro
wait.. isnt the pink super long life coolant basically just a pre-mix of the red concentrate coolant.. but with 50% distilled water? lol
No. Totally different coolant
I was told the same thing , that the pink coolent was pre mix .
Should have saved the fresh pink coolant for me. My Honda can run on anything without any gasket issues.
Dogs don’t go to heaven man but sorry for your loss
After you flush it. You just fill it up with red coolant or you mix it with water. Why don’t you fill it with the video. 🙏 thanks
50/50 coolant and water. I show it in the video
You sure you got enough water? 😂😂😂😂😂
Yup lol
There are two bolts at each side of the engine which could let you flush out the old coolant easier and also quicker...

Den scheiß hatte ich beim isf auch...hat mich 2000 euro bei lexus gekostet...
