I got a Glimmer glass 1 with a Smoque 2! Absolutely gorgeous! Though, at night, almost unusable when lights are in the frame. Great combo for my dreamy style i love.
How often do you find yourself using canned haze on set? We've found that it's been a must-have in our toolkit.
never used it. Heard it fades quite rapidly tho
And in the end you have a very nasty film all over the surface which is annoying to clean later. Would never. Use the haze spray again

Didn’t even know this existed! The biggest problems with haze/fog that I always face are the pre build in smoke alarms in most venues, that you can’t turn off. So this is pretty handy! What strength would you recommend?

Hey justin, in my experience this kind of filter (ultra contrast is amazing) but not in direction of the sunlight or direct light, which is the kind of backlighting I wanna shoot at. Same with this one? How does it behave against backlight?
pretty wild on the halation. Fog handles highlights much better
How does this compare to something like the Tiffen Black Pro Mist?

Which Smoque do you use most often or if you had one to choose from as there's different intensities?
Smoque 1/2 is what i like best. Its a very heavy diffusion

I have the smouqe 1 filter. I’m thinking about exchanging for the 3. Would you recommend getting the 2? I’m thinking the 3. Bc if I ever use it. I’m gonna want the smoke effect to be evident. I have a bunch of other diffusion and mist filters
just depends, for modern lenses, yeah go heavy. Vintage lenses...i tend to use lighter filtration

That’s a lot of filters in ur case! What filter can you recommend to lower the contrast, soften the highlight rolloff and lift blacks of sigma art lenses? The promist helps but too much halation in highlights

@@JustinPhillip I have two older identical Reds. So that means I can explore 3D shooting yes? Just put them on a special mount (to get the 2 lenses closer like human eyes, one of them at a 90deg mirror mount), plug USB Sync from Master to Slave, then record. Do you know anyone who can teach more about this, perhaps starting w youTube posts already existing?
