OK so I made this cake, I like that it stacks up well it’s stable and holds up nice which is perfect. This girl didn’t even bother to post a complete recipe. I added 1/2 tsp of baking powder and an extra 150ml of water so 300ml hot water total.
What do you mean by vegan spread?
just made this for my sisters birthday. it was so much fun to make and turn out so well thank you for this amazing recipe :)
How much baking powder did you put in pls
Wow!!! My Birthday is coming up and I will deff be attempting to make one for my channel!!! 🤘🏼❤️
Can you post a complete recipe? Girl you’re missing the measurement for baking powder smh 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I think the measurements in your ingredients list is wrong! It says 2tblsp of vinegar but in the video you say 1 and a half tspn? There definitely wasn't enough wet to dry mix when I tried...
What does vegan spread mean? Vegan cream cheese? Vegan cream? Vegan butter?
sorry for the confusion, any type of dairy free butter, we we used Flora dairy free but I use Pure swell, any type of dairy free type margerine/butter, hope that helps : )
@@JulietSear Can I make my vegan ganache with vegan chocolate and soy milk? If so, how much of each one do I add? Also, if I don't have powdered sugar what other type of sugar can I use? And, if I can't find self-raising flour and just have wheat flour, what do I add to the recepie?
@@Alexia-cv7pw it's just flour salt and baking powder
I'm only commenting because I saw the thumbnail - not watching the video. The cake looks terrible, especially the drip 🤦
What is the baking powder measurement pls
Im making this cake right now 😁im in america was kind of hard finding the conversions of grams to cups but i just noticed no measurement for baking powder? :o
Empathy Eva In case you haven’t figured it out - the self raising flour is where the baking powder is
@@Alice-ig4wv Can you also use normal flour and backing powder?
Gürkchen bauer I always use 1 cup of flour with 1 t of baking powder
Can you use Alpro for the cream?
I dont understand the measurements please help
Your videos are really cool!! :)
Hi, can I use apple cider vinegar instead of white wine vinegar? X
Hi Deborah - yep, that's absolutely fine.
hey, i know this videos alittle old so you may not see this, but how much baking powder did you add? I added 3 and a half teaspoons (i googled it and it said that was right for the amount of flour) but it didnt rise at all. sorry if this is a silly question im not a very good cook ahaha.
What ist vegan spread ? Is it vegan cream cheese?
I'm going to attempt this for my hubby's birthday!
Catherine Garrod brilliant!! Good luck hope it goes well pls share pics if you do! @julietsear Instagram 👍🏻👍🏻
@@JulietSear They look too good to eat.

What type of vegan Oreos do you use?
Georgia Kourtesakis Original i guess
Oreos are naturally vegan 😊
On the oreo website it says that oreos are not vegan - is there a vegan alternative you could use?
oreo originals are vegan.
@@olivia9843 I'm pretty sure the sugar is processed through bone char unfortunately :/
There's Newman's vegan oreos! Not sure if it tastes exactly like it but I'm sure it's good.
Jasmine Srsly? Can’t companies just give up already!
@@Jasmine-mr5vc I am pretty sure oreos are vegan... Maybe its because I live in a european country?
Measurements please
The measurements are online just type them in! :)
Lovely, lovely recipe... but Oreos are not vegan. They have milk.
FAQ of oreo.co.uk : "No, Oreo have milk as cross contact and therefore they are not suitable for vegans."
yeah its a tricky one. Friends of mine who are die hard vegans and have been for 30 years will eat Oreos also lots of vegans will but it's a personal choice, I believe the actual product doesn't have milk listed BUT they say because they are produced where milk is present they can't guarantee they are not milk free......but I may be wrong always interested to learn more. My two kids who are vegan will eat them but I know officially they cannot be classes as vegan.
They’re are technically ingredients wise vegan, but they cannot be labelled vegan for legal reasons because they are made in a factory that also Handel’s milk.
Idk where you are but many places such as america oreos are vegan... Hence their "cream" being called "creme".... it can't be called "cream" because there's no cream in them.
Cross contamination is possible because they're made in a factory where milk products are produced.
Do I have to add vinegar? I’d prefer not to.
