- Eggless Moist Oreo Chocolate Cake - Oreo cookies is a big time favourite especially among kids. I personally love the cookies. It will be super delicious to add them in cakes. I made the egg version last week, I can’t wait to share this eggless version. The cake is super moist, the flavour is just right. In this video, I’m using non-dairy whipping cream (normally I used dairy) for a change. It’s creamy and delicious. Just in case, you’re wondering why sugar not added into the frosting, most non-dairy cream is already been sweetened. This cake is best suited for birthday parties. You can make this cake 2 days in advance, and can also store in fridge for at least 5 days. What you think about this cake? If there are any requests let me know in the comment box down below. Enjoy!

15g [1 tbsp] white vinegar
180g [¾ cup + 2 tbsp] fine sugar
95g [⅓ cup + 1 tbsp] oil
120g [½ cup] plain yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp salt
210g [1¾ cup] cake flour
58g [½ cup] cocoa powder
7g [1¾ tsp] baking powder
5g [1 tsp] baking soda
160g [⅔ cup] hot water
• Oreo Cream Frosting
30g oreo biscuits, crushed fine
480g [2 cup] non-dairy whipping cream, sweetened***
Syrup [1 tbsp sugar + 2 tbsp hot water]
• Chocolate Drizzle
80g [½ cup] dark compound chocolate
80g [⅓ cup] non-dairy cream***
***REMARK: you can substitute the non-dairy cream with dairy cream (35% fat)
Instructions:
• Eggless Moist Chocolate Sponge Cake
1. In a glass, add in the milk and vinegar. Stir until well combined. Let it rest for 5 minutes
2. In a large mixing bowl, add sugar, oil, yogurt, the milk mixture, vanilla extract and salt. Mix vigorously until well combined.
3. Sift in the dry ingredients in 2 batches: cake flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda. Mix until combined.
4. Slowly add in the hot water. Mix until combined.
5. Transfer into a 15x15cm or 6x6 inch pan, greased and lined with parchment paper. Tap the pan on the table to release air bubbles.
6. Bake in preheated oven at 170°C/340°F for 45 minutes or until inserted skewer comes out clean.
7. Remove the cake from the pan and cool the cake completely before slicing.
8. Slice into 3 sheets.
• Oreo Cream Frosting
1. About 3-4 oreo biscuits, remove the fillings. Place into a food processor. Pulse until fine.
2. In a large mixing bowl, add the cream. Mix until stiff but do not over mix.
3. Add in the fine crushed oreos. Fold in until combined.
4. Transfer into a piping bag.
5. Pipe onto the layers of cakes.
• Chocolate Drizzle
1. In a small bowl, add in the chocolate and cream.
2. Microwave for 30 seconds or until melting stage.
3. Mix until well combined and no lumps.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!! Wondering if i am using dairy whipping cream how much sugar should add?
Hi. I don't like too sweet for the cream, so I would add about 25-30g (about 2 tbsp). You can give it a taste when the cream is still soft peak, you can add a little more if not sweet for you ☺️
Nice art work. When you mixed your wet ingredients. Does sugar dissolved fully and there were no tiny granules?
Absoultly beautiful work 👏👏👌👌From where you are getting non dairy cream? Abs
This is easy? 🤣 Fun to watch though. Cheers!
Hi!! Can u pls tell me what % of fat whipping cream u use?? Coz here in Denmark max is 38% fat whipping cream n it doesn’t hold d shape. Also can u pls suggest any non dairy whipping cream in Denmark?? Thanks!!
Hi dear. If you're using dairy cream, choose at least 35% fat. However, some brand like anchor although it has more than 35% it doesn't give you a stable stiff consistency. For dairy, go for these brands, Debic or Elle Vire. For non dairy, you can basically choose any brand because they don't have a fat % as they are made out of Vege oil. The difference of brands is just matter of taste. The non dairy creams that are popular in my country are Rich and Value Pride. Hope I answered you
Thanks a lot!! I have tried whipping with 38% cream but it doesn’t take shapes r it’s not stable. What can I add to the cream so that it gets stable, can I add gelatine or cream of tart? Will that cause any health conditions or spoils the taste??
Hey! I am from India, and due to the temperature, it’s so so hard to find ready to whip whipped cream! And that was a huge problem I was facing in cake making!
Alternatives:-
1) I personally don’t use it because it tastes too much buttery, but if you like it then just go ahead! So first alternative is buttercream, all you need is butter, sugar, and vanilla essence and you’ve to whip it!
2) Rich’s, tropolite, whipping cream, check if it’s available where you live! It’s just packaged heavy cream, you need to whip it which will turn it into whipped cream, some contains sugar and vanilla, and if they doesn’t, you have to add them, but hey, it’s so necessary to make sure when you’re adding it, when you whip the cream and it reaches soft peaks (that is it doesn’t falls but it’s not stiff enough for icing) at that time you add sugar and vanilla)
3) Whipping cream powder! You can use it!
Hey!! Thanks!! I was in India but now I have moved to Denmark n here we don’t get non diary cream. Will try butter cream for sure!! Thanks!
@@meghananarendra9799 got you!
