    These were amazing! The custard is fantastic, the bread was fantastic. I just wanted to give a piece of advice I missed from the video... when making the custard make sure you have the heat on LOW or else you might scramble your eggs. Also make sure the butter+milk mixture is cooled before adding it to the egg/sugar mixture. Also, I only had active dry yeast, not instant. I proofed 4 grams of that in about an eighth of a cup of warm water and a big pinch of sugar, cut the warm milk down by an eighth of a cup, and it worked out great!

      Thanks for the advice, although, isn't mixing the mixture really fast as soon as you add the butter+milk mixture enough to avoid cooking the eggs ? (that's what I usually do)

      For me that would be not eating that raw yeasty dough in it's entirety lmaoooo I know I'm weird but I seriously can't help it, the smell itself is mouthwatering to me. Esp if you add a little cinnamon in the mix uughh

    Nice recipe, just a little tips : you have to mix the corn flour with some cold milk before adding it to the eggs, so you won't have any lumps in it.

      @@deidre1411 Yes, sometimes there is no problem,, but sometimes there is some additive in your corn stach that avoid lumps in your mixture, but most of the times it's unhealthy. Anyway, if you mix it with cold milk you are sure that it won't happend ^^.

    Made these today and very good!
    The custard is to die for 💖
    The dough reminds me a bit of a pasty tho or a sausage roll in taste, I think maybe it could be improved if it was a bit sweeter 🤔
    But overall, nice!

      In some countries cornstarch is labelled as cornflour and cornflour is referred as maize flour

      @@thebusinesswoman23 Yes it will! cornstarch is a thickening agent, so as long as you put the right amount and follow the other steps, you should get the custard that you want!

      They are! I've actually made them three times before seeing this video XD would suggest using bread flour and mixing the (warmed) liquids, sugar, and instant yeast for the dough first and letting it get frothy. If the bread dough isn't smooth it has trouble sticking to itself and then you get custard oozing out onto your pan : /

    Best recipe, no oven, not oily at all, nice way to put in custard unlike custard donuts where u punch a hole a use piping bag to put in custard. Thank you soo muchhh

    When adding the buttermilk to the yolk/sugar/flour mixture, remember to keep stirring the entire time to prevent the eggs from scrambling.

    I did it and here's the feedback:
    - simple flavor but it's good
    - I used wheat flour and turned out great
    - the vanilla cream takes FOREVER to get ready, like 20 minutes of non stoping moving, idk but for me seemed to be faster
    - time of oven can change a lot so always look out for the first ones (I burned 2)
    - when done I thought hot would be better but no

    You practically didn't let the yeast ferment your dough long enough.
    First fermentation is crucial; I'd let it sit, after kneading, 2 hours. Then divide and preshape; let sit 15 minutes. And then do the final shaping and let an extra hour of proofing.
    You'll get so much flavor from your dough.
    I'm going to make these and will let anyone interested know how they turned out.

    Это потрясающий рецепт, а для меня, студентки без духовки, является просто кладезем вкусненького. Единственная сложность - вымешивание теста с маслом, но это мои личные заморочки. Кукурузная мука, кстати, без проблем заменяется обычной.
    Получается очень нежно и вкусно, без проблем хранятся несколько дней и остаются сдобными. Спасибо огромное за такую вкусноту

      @@kori9590 They have the perfect quantity of sugar, in my opinion.
      And also, be careful with the minutes you leave it in the covered oven, it really depends on your kitchen and stuff

    I making these now 😬 The custard was fun but the heat was too high and I noticed and quickly adjusted before it became very much like scrambled eggs (still not sure if it's the correct texture but it tastes great!) I used corn starch NOT corn flour 👍 They are sitting like good little balls of dough until I have to roll and assemble them 😅
    EDIT: Assembling was fun 😁 Definitely didn't pinch hard enough though, they opened just a tad but thankfully not enough to escape into the pan. Also: SUPER EASY TO BURN. I thought I had it, one side was beautiful. Next side was darker than the deep pits of a Tennessee cave. (stove was on 2) Oops. Tried again (1 this time) and they are too tan, like how some people look when they've had WAY too many tans and just don't look right. Last batch, can't fudge this up! (LO now) 2 minutes on each side and they are lovely. *Whew* They taste great! Not too sweet, the bread by itself I would consider to be a little bland, but that's perfect, because with the custard 😚❤️ Delicious!!

      They did a pan-frying. Just not a deep frying.
      Pan-Frying : Cooking something in a pan (normally you put oil or butter so it doesn't burn, but without it, it's still called frying I'm pretty sure)
      Deep-frying : Directly cooking in boiling oil (Like french fries or chicken nuggets)
