Welcome to my world!! I’ve been doing vinyl graphics for 22 years now. Btw, it’s pronounced cricket, like the bug 😬. Yeah, you can’t get really detailed with cut vinyl…luckily at my work I have access to a large format digital printer, and I can print on vinyl and bubble cut decals out with higher/smaller details. I’ve put custom stickers on my movie screen inside my Palace Cinema as well as on the marque sign. I love putting custom signage on buildings…I have a few businesses with their own signs. If you have a local sign shop near you, it might be worth asking what they would charge for small runs of stickers. My suggestion for your city, since you’re limited to one color graphics-what about making traffic arrows, bike path, crosswalk etc stuff for your road plates? I even use vinyl sometimes to cover up window panels so you can’t see thru them.
Yeah 😅 I figured the whole "Cricket" pronunciation out halfway through the video and I was like dang oh well 😂😂. That's really cool man, I'm jealous that you can access one at work. I'd love to use an actual printer to make some smaller stickers like for street signs and car decals etc. The idea of using them to block out light is really smart! @@NewBrickerton my police station only has 3 walls, so putting some translucent vinyl on the windows helped hide the open backside when viewing the building from the other angles. It’s a cost effective way to build some facades.
@@NewBrickerton I did feature that in my early days of making content on RUclips. Along with my Cinema, I made a custom sign for my police station, and my laundry mat, Tidy Whities-both are in videos somewhere on my channel 😂 if you’re interested, I could find them and send you links.
Would them sliding decals work. I think they make printing paper made up of whatever that material is. Also see youre a chiefs fan. Im from Western N.Y. so not a real big fan of the chiefs at the moment. Ha.
