    I live in the Houston surrounding area and I have asked a couple of hair stylist about the texture release and neither knew anything about it. I had been watching RUclipsrs in the London area who have had good success with the texture release and it peaked my interest. Your channel was a RUclips recommendation and I was surprised when you started speaking that you did not have a British accent. Thank you for saying that you are in Houston. I am most definitely interested in a texture release and will be contacting your salon. I have been natural again for almost 2 years and I am struggling with my hair. Your hair is beautiful.

    How many washes did it take before your hair went back to its natural state?

    • @BehindTheScenesM2GH
      @BehindTheScenesM2GH  2 года назад +4

      So my hair was straight for 2 weeks. Then I shampoo my hair with clarifying shampoo two times then moisturizing shampoo once and then I deep condition my hair with the moisturizer conditioner. So when my curls was wet it was looser and it didn't look exactly like how my hair looked before I put the texture release. So I did a two strand twists and when my hair was dry it was completely fine. So you will see a difference in your hair because the texture release is a washout chemical now I've been having it for almost 3 months now and my hair is definitely going back to my natural pattern and I'm thinking about doing it again I don't know.. but yes you should check out more of my videos I do have videos showing you how it looks wet, how it looks 2 weeks later 6 weeks later and etc.

      Application takes only one hour and forty-five minutes including straightening! No limitations on putting your hair up when straight. Does loosen curl pattern slightly. Awesome product. 👍

      I live in Louisiana and no one here does it either. I just did it yesterday on my daughter for her 13th birthday and it came out beautifully. I'm not gifted in the area of doing hair but I just followed the instructions to the T. I can't speak on long term results but my daughter's hair came out exactly how I wanted it to yesterday. I normally get Brazilian blowouts but she has very thick type 4 hair (I think 4Aish) and I got her a keratin treatment before that didn't really do much to her hair so I was curious to try this on her and it is beautiful. It is meant to be administered by a professional and I would have preferred not to take the risk and have a professional do it but I wasn't afforded that choice and it all worked out for us, & at a MUCH cheaper price might I add and there's product left over for the next time (maybe even 2 more times).

    Hello, during the process did you feel the treatment itching on the scalp, like a relaxer? I did. Also I'm shredding and my roots are coming back natural after 1 week. 😔

    • @BehindTheScenesM2GH

      When I had it done. Yes I do feel a little tingling and that was because some of the product got on my scalp but it didn't damage my scalp. So when you say shedding, is your hair shedding more normal than a used to?

      @@lilneets5141 you're okay I understand I'm not for sure if you already answered this question but did you go to a stylist or did you do it yourself? if you went to a stylist I highly suggest you reach out to the stylist and let them know what is happening because with this service you absolutely shouldn't receive any unnecessary shedding. Let them know what is going on ask them to send you a picture or the name of the product they're using so you can research to see if you may be allergic to it.

      @@lilneets5141 also you want to be very careful with putting your hair in braids when your hair is in some type of distress because that can become a problem as well.. some of the issues you may have with braids, tension, the weight of the braids pulling on your hair, and also braiding hair can be very drying for our hair and strip us of our natural oils.

      Yes you can use gel or edge control but if you don't want your hair to revert back you want to make sure that is not heavy and water-based so whatever product you use make sure it's not heavy and water-based

  • @bree7969

    I have a question. Are Texture Release meant to combat heat? Meaning, is it not supposed to revert back after a certain amount of time, or does it revert back immediately once wet? Also, how often do you touch up your Avlon texture release? Thank you. :)

    • @BehindTheScenesM2GH
      @BehindTheScenesM2GH  Год назад

      Yes the texture release reverts back after you wash it I always suggest to my clients to give it at least 2 weeks before you wash your hair and over time it does wash out of your hair within 2 to 3 months. Also it does come with heat protection so it does protect your hair when you do see the passes that I do to activate the texture release it does have his heat protection with that.
