    To answer the question posed at the end of your video, I would like to see more texture release videos (as you are one of few stylists showcasing it in the US) and just regular silk press videos. I love watching your process and the wonderful end result. Hope your channel will continue to grow/flourish in 2024 🙏

    The results were so bomb. I’m considering getting this service as I need something to help me manage my 4c hair and the gym. Please more videos on tightly coiled hair. Thank you ❤

      You can still heat train, but after the service you probably would not want to. It helps with uniform curls and longer lasting silk presses. I would be happy to have you in my chair :)

    I'd love to hear of experiences of clients that wear their hair curly after having texture release. Ie they dont have silk presses. How do their curls look before and after the process? I dont want straight hair, just looser curls. Thanks

      That's a great idea. I will see if I can get some of my clients to send twist out pics. That way you can see what it looks like from someone doing their own hair after the service. If I do get some Ill post an update video on it.

    I haven’t met a hairstylist yet who knows how to properly comb coily hair. It’s unfortunate that the stylists think they have to pull and yank on the hair. It’s just ridiculous!

    • @BehindTheScenesM2GH
      @BehindTheScenesM2GH  8 месяцев назад +5

      I am not sure on how to respond to this. This client has a texture release so her curls are easier to work through. I do start from the bottom up. I think perspective can be skewed if you are not a stylist or the client in the chair. But her hair was not yanked. If that is not what you were inferring please expound on your comment so that I can get clarity.

    Is there a difference between texture release systems and Smoothing systems or is it the same thing?

      I couldn't say being I only deliver texture release. My clients have not needed an alternative option to this service, so I have not researched anything new.

    Hi, I have a texture releasing using the same brand. It works great for the most part. But around the parameter of my hair(edges), it reverts back to curly in day or 2(but the rest of my hair remains straights). Is this normal?

    • @BehindTheScenesM2GH
      @BehindTheScenesM2GH  Месяц назад

      Yes. But it should only be noticeable to you. In the instructions it advised to be a small distance from the scalp.

    Is a texture release the same thing as a keratin smoothing treatment?

    • @BehindTheScenesM2GH
      @BehindTheScenesM2GH  2 месяца назад

      I can't say 100% yes or no. I choose the Texture Release because its by Avlon and I use their relaxers. When I find a good professional product line I like to stick with them.

      I would like to see more videos on relaxed hair showing things to do to make it easier to have extended stretches between relaxer applications.
      I would like to see all the ways Olaplex can be used before, during and after relaxation services to repair/mitigate damage.🎉

      I would like to see a keratin smoothing treatment applied between relaxer applications to increase the time between applications. I’d like to be able to get a relaxer once a year with keratin smoothing treatments between relaxation applications.🎉

    I don't know anything about what this stylist is doing as far as a texture release but there are many ppl calling their services a Texture Release as well and what I need you black women to understand is what the stylist here is doing may not be the same thing others are so do your research with every stylist claiming that they're doing Texture release and what they're actually doing is mixing relaxers with hair conditioner and applying it to your natural hair so you won't feel the burning sensation sometimes felt when getting a perm or it won't smell like chemicals the way relaxers can smell. If you are putting any chemicals on your hair that changes the natural texture from how your hair grows from your Scalp and your has doesn't bounce back how it did prior to that process You Have a Perm. Although silk pressing and round brushing can change slightly your hair it isn't the same as putting a product on your hair and having the natural texture change..Black Women I don't know what's happening in your lives that have SOME so obsessed to have your hair different from how it grows from the scalp but The Beauty Industry is going to cash in on your obsession by selling you anything and calling it everything other than what it is and that's a PERM.. WTF is going on where you need to have your have look wet with long ringlets of curls like Hispanic women? I'm sorry but it comes across as self hate but it's your hair so do with it whatever you want but the majority of these TexLaxers are nothing more than a milder version of a perm and you're going bald to look like somebody else.

      My clients are not self hating. They are expressive and chose an option that maybe you would not have. That's all. I am here to provide education and healthy options. This service gives clients versatility, ease of manageability, and flexibility as this is a wash out chemical. I am not sure what this conditioner relaxer mix you are describing, but that is not the service I am delivering.
