this was before Renault was a separate team haha, they supplied STR with engines. Usually engineers from engine company work in the customer teams to provide PU support etc, ie some Mercedes engineers will be working for McLaren, Williams + Aston.
Every single engineer would be scouring a few second of footage, truth be told though, biggest differences are made in aero and everytime a car is on the track, images of competitors cars are sent across the world to test teams where then can review, duplicate and improve on new aero they see on other cars.

This situation is quite similar to Marc Marquez in France 2016 After he get incident along with Dovizioso, he continue with damage mostly on bike part, it shown the engine cover while Dovi retired on the spot like some drivers who also crash Marc down to 15th with this incident but inherit from Jack Miller and Bradley Smith crash to climb up to 13th place Note: Both crash at same corner but they did not make any contact together, both just fall
i always understood that the center of gravity is low. but i never imagined "so little car" in front of the rear wheels. the car is basicalli finished at 35cm above ground
