The Anchorman DVD has something like 45 minutes of footage with Burt Reynolds, who was actually going to be in this film. It was basically a whole other movie they had going, but then they decided to just cut him out of it.

With Halloween coming up, I've got to recommend both Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Ernest Scared Stupid. Also, there is a connection between the two movies. The effects for both killer Klowns from Outer Space and Ernest Scared Stupid were done by the Chiodo Brothers. The Chiodo Brothers are the guys who wrote, directed, and produced Killer Klowns from Outer Space, as well as doing the practical effects and makeup. So some of the effects from Killer Klowns were reused and repurposed for Ernest Scared Stupid. I think they'd make for a great reaction. They're both perfect mixes of spooks, laughs, and great creature effects.

My second favorite Kubrick film, behind FMJ. Loved that film, and it's still one that, if I come across it while channel surfing, I will always stop and watch.
Rather less known about that film is that it was the screen debut of a very young James Earl Jones (RIP).

The iconic instantly recognizable scream you're referring to is called the Wilhelm scream. It originated from a 1951 western called Distant Drums with Gary Cooper, it has since been used in over 400 movies and tv shows.

I love watching your reactions, and as an "old" guy (61), I'm impressed when someone young like yourself actually recognizes "old" songs like "Afternoon Delight" and "Carry on Wayward Son".
I too, think you should watch "Step Brothers" and "Talladega Nights", or, if you haven't seen it yet, how about "My Cousin Vinny" with Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei?
Someone else commented that he'd like to see you do reactions more frequently, and I'd like that too, but not if commitments to your other channel and to your regular life prevent it. We don't need to see you burn out. Keep up the great work.

Hey, Miranda! Just a little factoid here: I read in an interview that the inspiration behind the Rod Burgundy character is none other than Mort Crim - a legendary and renowned anchor to those of us in the Detroit, Toledo, Windsor area. I lived in Monroe, Michigan most of my life so Mort Crim contributed to the soundtrack of my life ... But I was always a Bill Bonds kinda guy! I mean, the crap Bill Bonds got away with?!? He's the GOAT! 🤣

How can anybody not like Will Ferrell? Hrs definitely one of the comedy stars on the planet & hes most indeed the hilarious guy on the planet in all of his movies especially in Anchorman. Plus, Miranda i loved your reaction to every single part of the movie especially with Steve Carell's scenes involved. He was funny as hell in this movie! I just watched this movie last night & its been years since the last time i watched Anchorman.
Definitely one of Will Ferrell's best movies hes ever done especially in Step Brothers which is my favorite one most importantly. Keep up the good work with your channel & i loved your reaction to this movie. Plus, just a suggestion you should do a movie reaction to Blades Of Glory & it has Will Ferrell in it too, plus with John Heater. Its super hilarious!
I dont know if you've seen it though. Just a suggestion.
Love your channel, by the way😊
    Take care of yourself.

This is the scene stealing portion of Steve Carell's career. He has a similar act of thievery in Bruce Almighty. Carell is one of the first stars who I got to see rise, from his early days on The Dana Carvey Show, to his work as a corespondent on The Daily Show, to these smaller parts, then his catapult into the main stream with The Office, and all the staring roles that followed. What an absolute joy to watch. I hope you do more of his stuff on the channel.
