Yeah, I hardly listened to any Smiths or his own stuff for 15 years n then returned. What was I doing for a decade and a half? On the top tier of song writers. A mighty voice too.
“ I can’t work with people who I don’t really like “ OK MR “ I was there, dying, and Johnny saved me. “ AND “ I could just feel Johnny’s energy seeping inside of me. “ OK OK
I AM doing your work in me and I AM causing His frown to turn upside down!!! I love the joy I feel when He is happy. Thank you for having the confidence in me to allow me this position...
Oh please...it was so long ago, they were so young, they are very different people now and it simply wouldn't work. Neither he nor Marr need to do it, there is no real point to it they've always looked forward. They met and had a drink together and discussed it and both decided that it would be a pointless folly. I missed seeing the at the time, but I have no desire to see them do a 'Stone Roses'.
What a pity he couldn't find another Marr. His solo work for the most part sounds like a talent that can't find a rocket to launch it. He's been constrained to glue his style to a mere overdriven buzzsaw guitar indifference that could be any indie band from the last thirty years paying at any provincial music venue. It's utterly bland and flaccid. A shame really.
His solo stuff is great. The musicians he plays with now are great- Boz, Alain, Jesse, etc. He hasn't worked with Marr in over 30 years, time to let it go.
This is Morrissey at his strongest
Rome really did something special for him, and I hope he goes back
I've just rediscovered morrisey ,absolutely marvellous ,a real artist ,brilliant .

Good interview by Edith - relaxed and natural.
I just saw him in Ventura and after nineteen years, seven months and twenty-one days, he has always remained True!!!
Thank You for Posting!!!
Awww, he was getting embarrassed and blushing when she was complimenting him at 6:25. He's so sweet & shy, lol
I’ll tell you who MORRISSEY is in love with, and has even made a lifetime commitment in marriage...His music, and that’s it!
❤❤❤
One of the absolute BEST Morrissey interviews! Thanks for uploading.
Absolute Legend!!!

Indeed, they've gave us 4 great albums which you can listen to at any point no need for ppl to beg for something they'll never get.
The two aren't mutually exclusive, ya' know.
oh sorry fascinathing mann
I think Morrissey use to have a pierced ear
He certainly did back in the day.
Does he have his ears pierced? When did he do that lmaooo
i believe that before one of the last smiths performances, johnny pierced it so that they could match
Your eye sight is much better than mine Lola Chan!
@@user-ev1uo7sb8n oh my god really?
His ears aren't pierced.
He is a liar,The Smith was the best thing that ever happened to him and he knows it.
He never said otherwise.
Jesse, turn your fuckin guitar down.
