- Not sure if I just got a dud or what because everyone else seems to have a stellar review for this thing. My first experience using the lawnmower got me through 1/4 of my yard before both of the batteries were dead within 15 minutes. I recharged the batteries and tried again with the same result. The batteries in the lawnmower were both dated well before the mower was made so I reached out to their support team. They were able to get me 2 new batteries within a week for free. I thought that would solve my issue, but the new batteries again only increased my mowing time by 10-12 minutes. I struggled all summer and was happy when Winter arrived. I go to take the lawnmower out today for the first mow of Spring after charging all 5 of my batteries and wouldn't you know it... THE THING WON'T EVEN TURN ON. 2 blinking red lights showing the batteries are dead despite all of them showing full power. I now have a bricked lawnmower that I used less than 20 times. NEVER AGAIN. I just emailed their support team for about the 6th time and hope to either get my money back or a replacement that works up to par like everyone else's who wrote amazing reviews.
Hope you got an answer! Mine is in warranty, but as it's now May 2020, I'm guessing those contacts to customer support will go unanswered. I called and listened to their classical music cutting out like a bad cell phone connection for as LONG as I could stand it. HUng up because I really don't think there's anyone there....after a freakin' HOUR! What did YOU ever find out?

I hear ya about the hold music, cuts in and out, no one ever answers. I've emailed 5 times. no response...
Many people are satisfied with greenworks. It's under warranty still..
The warranty got me new batteries that also died after 10 minutes so now it’s just gathering dust with the 6 batteries I have that all last 10 minutes at most if I’m lucky.
@@Ktotheile 6 batteries at 10 minutes each is an hour use. Something seems odd since most videos on greenworks shows plenty of battery power for small to mid size yards.
