Hi, I’m new to the video editing world and I wanted to install davinci resolve for the first time so I can start creating projects. Do you recommend installing the 19 beta 2 version (Pros: new features. Cons: possibly unstable at times?) or the 18.6.6 version (Pros: everything is stable Cons: won’t get to use newest beta features)? I can’t decide.

Good question. I would go for V18.6.6 for now V19beta 2 is doing weird things at the moment.
When the full version comes out then you can just update it to the latest V19.
Since you just starting out I don't think those new features will impact your editing too much.

I have bought the studio-version 18.6.6 and installing version 19 beta will overwrite this? So version 19 is bought, too? Edit: Done! Wonderful, there is no problem!
