  • Take another trip back in time with us! This is how it works: "Turn the time circuits on and enter your destination time" Dec 22, 1986. You'll find yourself on the Universal Studios Tour Bus in Hollywood California exploring all the greatest movie sets from the 80's. See the Back to the Future Set and a quick glimpse of the time traveling DeLorean. Also, talk to the Knight Rider Car "KITT" and watch small kids pick up the famous A-Team Van. Watch Jaws swallow a boat along with the making of E.T. and Miami Vice. See how they made astronauts appear to fly in space in the movies and watch an epic 80's dragon battle. Don't forget to get a picture with Frankenstein and Woody Woodpecker and just make sure you have enough Plutonium to make it Back to the Future!

I literally just came back from Universal Studios Hollywood a few hours ago with my wife and 8 year old son, this version will always be more entertaining and less crowdfunding. It was the best times 1980's

I remember sitting in the KITT car at Universal in the 80s. It was so awesome as a kid. Thanks for showing this video.

I remember this so fondly, I just lost my Grandmother last year and she and my Grandpa brought me here so many times, and 1985 was the year I remember most. I got to pick up the A-Team van, and I played on the phone, and in the wagon, did the tram tour, I do remember that Jaws was broken that particular visit and I was sad, but still had so much fun,I do remember that when you drove by they still had huge crates that said
'Danger Don't touch" and it was when they were still building King Kong. thank you allowing so many of us to relive these wonderful memories. RIP Gram and Gramps

Thank you for posting this. I grew up in LA and THIS is the universal studios I remember as a kid. Battlestar Galactica, KITT, the ET movie demonstration. I have a picture of myself lifting the A-Team van!

Thanks for posting this and especially for providing the date it was filmed. I like being able to see how the Park has changed over the years.

So cool to see courthouse square only two years after BTTF was filmed. I saw for a quick second the cafe 80s.

That was really cool! I wish we had more footage of the DeLorean! I was 6 years old in this video and the funny thing is I have always remembered the water rushing down the street towards the tour bus but nothing else about this trip.

Wow. This video brought back so many memories. So few things are still even left. Jaws and the flashflood. A few things from the back lot. But that's it pretty much. I miss the western stunt show. Thank you for sharing this!

I was there 1986 and was selected out of the crowd to participate in the Screen test, dressed in prison garbs and turned upside down in a cable-driven aircraft. I was 11 years old, seeing myself projected on a thirty foot screen. I met a group of 'strangers" - tourists like myself- who, by the end of the tour, felt like family. Best memories. Greetings from Australia.

Lifting the A-Team's van was one of the best experiences as s kid in Universal Studios. I guess there's too much of a liability today to let kids lift the A-Team's van. One of them might get crushed under a wheel and B.A Barracus won't be there to save them.

The prop plaza was amazing. I can't believe they let us climb that giant telephone. I wonder how many people hurt themselves on that thing. The 1980s were the wild west when it came to safety standards.

Do you guys have anything on The A-Team Live Action Show that performed in the entertainment center? There's very scarce footage of the show itself, on my channel I managed to scrounge together what it would look like but it's understandable if you didn't have the show as it wasn't as spectacular/advertised as conan or the western show.

Just went to Universal about a month ago and it wasn't nearly as cool as this. Instead of making things more fun they have cut out many rides and replaced them with shops and Starbucks. What a sad time we live in now. I'm glad I got to see some of this stuff when I went in the 90's as a kid. I missed out on the Miami Vice stuff though

I'm really grateful of modern tech, advance in equity and rights for minorities etc... But, i miss the nostalgia of the 80's. The debut of video games, the way we watched the stars with dreams...Something than today's childs will probably never feel... We were really innoncent and full of dreams... Working with kids since more then 25 yrs now...Can say they don't have the same imagination. They don't need it...since they have all the infos, answers and entertainment with a finger on a device! I wish we could bring our modern social views and mash it with the 80's life! loll
