1987 what a year

Oh man, these videos are fantastic! I grew up in Highlands Ranch (don't hold that against me) and spent way too much time at Southglenn as a kid. Some amazing nostalgia in these videos.

It's four o'clock in the morning. And this randomly came on. I was born in seventy-nine, and to me, nineteen eighty-six was my favorite childhood year! This is exactly what I did for Halloween, my brother and I every year trick or treat at the Regency Mall in Jacksonville, Florida. Thank you for sharing this memory. It takes me back to better times. The best times. 😊

Wow! My mom, who's 51, told me that she used to go trick or treating in the mall during the late 70s - early 80s. She loved it. It's sad it doesn't really exist anymore.

I sure do miss the Southglenn Mall, especially before they shut down Round the Corner and built Dillards... That place was like my second home growing up.

Southglenn, back in those days had a 3.5% sales tax. That was its biggest draw for consumers. It was at least 3% less than anywhere else in the Denver Metro Area.

If anyone tries to say that America does not or never had a culture, here is video evidence of the fact that we did and hopefully do. I miss Halloween...

Dying malls completely miss opportunities like this to increase foot traffic to those stores trying to stick it out until the end.
