Is like a teaching think here, is about let things go, Emily was so obsessed with the idea of marry someone and be happy ever after, at the end she finally free herself of that curse. She realize that maybe is not in her destiny to marry someone. (and also wait for someone, would take too long).
Claymation IS stop motion animation... 6:53 -- Ohhh, this is a whole argument between the Victor/Emily vs Victor/Victoria shippers. 9:23 -- Yes it does though. He's TOO LATE. Victoria has been married to someone else. Therefore he can no longer hope to marry her. Therefore he has nothing more, really, to go back for, so, he might as well stay and maybe at least try and make Emily happy. 11:25 -- I mentioned the shipper wars. There are people who are *so disappointed* that this does NOT happen. ...And then there are those of us who get annoyed at how _vastly underrated_ Victoria is... just because she is Not Emily. 12:43 -- Yes, because Emily is lively and vivacious, and we spend more time getting to know her, and she has a sad backstory so people love her and feel badly for her because, really, she _does_ deserve better. But that does not necessarily make her the better match for Victor. Victoria is Victor's counterpart, in personality, character, temperament-- even in name. They do belong together.
Claymation is a form of stop-motion, the difference is the models being fully clay with little or no internal wiring for support. Normal stop-motion uses models that have an internal metal skeleton that has to be manually adjusted very very slightly by hand or with tools for each frame. Examples would be this movie and the original 1933 King Kong.
I appreciate your being honest about not liking it as much as you expected. It's a favourite childhood movie for me, and I know it by heart basically xD
I totally agree that they should have made it more of a point to mention that they cant harm the living earlier. even if it was an ominous warning when learning about the Ukrainian Haunting Spell or whatever

i meant to say claymation or doll/puppet stop motion💀
@@NiaLeverne
From the making-of , behind-the-scenes clips, I believe they say it's the doll / puppet type.
"Is it a dog? ... A BABY?!" Girl 😭😭😭

Johnny Depp was an Oscar nominated actor
Victoria's family is old money whereas Victor's family is new money
This movie was composed by Danny Elfman who also voiced Bonejangles

Alfalfa was a funny character who I grew up with as a kid
Lol I liked victor and Emily together better tbh and thought they had more chemistry especially the piano duet scene
To see what a good voice actor Johnny Depp is , you can also check out Rango. It’s a great story.
