The clothes in front of Bobinski's building near the end were the other Wybie's clothes, implying the other mother got rid of him after he helped Coraline. Anyways yall's reaction was really fun ^^
This movie gave me so much trauma as a child but I’ve always loved it and rewatched it regularly since 😭🙌 the amount of symbolism and fore shadowing they have in the films imagery and settings you can notice upon rewatches is SO GOOD.
Fun Fact, the song that the other father sings can be interpreted as a warning to Coraline (if you listen closely) Absolute masterpiece, I love this movie!
Almost three weeks ago, I went to see this movie for its 15th anniversary. In all honesty, I’ve become really fascinated with this film over the last year. By sheer coincidence, it happened to be rereleasing this year after becoming interested to see it last year. And it was really fantastic. I’ve always been fascinated by stop motion films like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run and a bunch more, which is fitting since this was directed by Henry Selick, who also directed The Nightmare Before Christmas. But, as for the film, I loved it. Personally, I didn’t really find the film scary, it was more creepy than anything else, but I think this is fantastic film for kids to see as a way they’d be pretty scared, but very entertained as well, which, if done right, I think can be a really good thing. I just loved the animation, the story and characters. It was a very well thought out story, which is obviously a huge credit to the book it’s based on, but the way it was adapted as a kid’s film was really incredible. I also loved the characters and thought they were all likeable, even ones you initially thought wouldn’t be, especially Coraline herself, I really loved her as a character. It’s also boosted up by its cast as well, everyone does a great job, especially Dakota Fanning as Coraline, I think she helped make Coraline super likeable and she did a great job, which is fitting since I’ve seen her as a fantastic voice actress before like in My Neighbour Totoro. Other Mother was also a great and really creepy and kinda terrifying villain, and the animation was so beyond creative for a stop motion film. I just had a great time with it and I would love to see it again.
Great movie. If you haven't scene the movie James And The Giant Peach, I highly recommend it. I love the stop motion aspects of the movie. (And Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas makes a cameo.)
The animation was so beautiful for this 😍 great reaction! I also wanted to know what the other world food would taste like but nah I'll stick with what I have lol

I tried to show this movie to my daughter a couple of years back but the "other mother" scared the living daylights out of her. 😂
It does have some creepy moments!

It’s such a good movie !!
Fun fact: The 2 "sisters" are actually a couple!
No. I think it was said that the author of the book originally wanted to make them a couple, but didn’t.

the only complaint I had / still have over this movie is not showing why the parents were so tense like in the book.
